    Very nice quite hotel. All beds in the region are very low to the floor -- not comfortable for me. Towels are thin, shampoo and hair conditioner rare. Small inconvenienecs. The service is good, nice bar, good food. I think this is the best place around for a US traveler - in fact the US construction managers for the new US Embassy were staying there also -- for months.

    This is a very good hotel for business travelers and conferences. The staff speak excellent German and English. My travel was for vacation - the hotel is too far away to walk to "Old Town" Riga but you can easily use the tram for .30Lats (tram stop is across the street). You can reach Old Town or the train station in minutes by tram. Taxi service is also readily available in the parking lot. My stay included breakfast which was very good and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed my stay at the Maritim Park Hotel.
