Description
See more detailsLocation. The Maritim Hotel Stuttgart is located in the German city of Stuttgart, in a commercial neighbourhood three kilometres from the centre. There is a metro station 200 meters from the hotel and the Bosch Areal, a complex with shops, restaurants and a cinema, is 20 metres away.
Hotel Features. This 14-storey hotel is housed in two contemporary buildings built around the Alte Stuttgarter Reithalle, a former indoor riding facility from 1885. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool with a poolside bar, fitness equipment, a sauna and a massage treatment room. A hair salon offers beauty services. Complimentary newspapers are on offer in the spacious marbled lobby and multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer currency exchange and the use of safe-deposit box.
The Maritim Hotel Stuttgart has two restaurants. Restaurant Reuchkin serves local specialities and international dishes in a contemporary setting with mirrored walls. Breakfast (surcharge) is served each morning in Restaurant Rotisserie, which is hung with chandeliers and furnished with potted palms. The Treff Piano Bar, featuring high ceilings and a circular bar, serves a wide choice of cocktails and other drinks.
There is a business centre and meeting facilities are available. The air-conditioned public areas have wireless Internet access.
Guestrooms. The 555 guestrooms are decorated in muted tones and have contemporary furnishings including desks. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, climate control and dial-up and wireless Internet access. Other standard amenities include safes, minibars, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Look out for Gaisburger Marsch, a traditional Swabian beef stew. The cubed meat is simmered in a strong beef stock and served with potatoes, SpƤtzle (a kind of noodle and dumpling hybrid) and onions fried in butter. Delicious]
