    The service here was attentive if a bit snooty and the condition is nice overall but I got the feeling that it was just a tiny bit worn (or is on its way to being so). Having a balcony was nice and the location is great. However, the gym was tiny and it was tight with 5 or 6 of us using it. Also, they do not pass the 'toilet paper' test. For the price you pay to stay here, they might invest in a bit nicer toilet paper rather than the cheap stuff. I would first recommend the Four Seasons but the Mandarin would be next in line for recommendation.

Location. Mandarin Oriental Miami is by the bay on Brickell Island in Miami, Fla. The hotel is three miles from Coconut Grove. The Design District, five miles from the hotel, is lined with galleries, exhibits and shops. South Beach is six miles from the property.

Hotel Features. Two restaurants and three bars are on site at Mandarin Oriental Miami. The hotel offers an infinity pool, spa tub, cabanas, an open-air sushi and pool bar, and a private beach with day beds and lounge furniture. An on-site health club features yoga, Pilates and belly dancing classes. Spa at Mandarin Oriental provides 17 private treatment rooms, saunas and steam rooms. The spa offers outdoor massages in private cabanas at Oasis Beach Club.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms at this Miami hotel feature bathrobes and slippers. Rooms offer views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline from balconies. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Rooms are equipped with cable television. Pets are allowed for a fee.
