Maison Dupuy Hotel

Very Nice Staff

The staff at The Maison Dupuy was really great, very friendly and willing to go beyond to make our stay better. My room was ready two hours early which was really great. My room was located across from the elevator which was a little annoying at first because of loud guests, however considering it was New Orleans and I went to bed early I really couldn't complain too much. I had no problem with noise on later nights. The pool was great, the courtyard lovely and the room was nice. The bathroom was a little lackluster and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were a little hard to open or to get anything out but aside from those small details it was a fine place and I would definitely stay there again.

A delightful stay

Great location; professional staff; attractive throughout; nice pool and hot tub; walk to anywhere in the French Quarter; Meritage restaurant was excellent. We'll definitely stay here next time we go to New Orleans. Parking, at $32/day seemed way overpriced, but we easily found street parking right next to the hotel.

Excellent deal- get balcony!

I visited the Maison Dupuy on a romantic birthday weekend- a suprise for my boyfriend. We were impressed with the hotel room and staff. The balcony overlooked a beautiful courtyard with a pool. The only problem was that we were not aware of the hold that was to be put on my debit card for parking and other incidentals, which were never incurred. The woman working at the desk accepted a cash deposit instead, and the rest of the stay was wonderful. Clean room, extremely comfortable bed! Two blocks from Bourbon street, which was far enough to be quiet, but close enough to feel safe walking back. A room with a balcony is worth the extra money, as the courtyard is beautiful. We will definitely stay again!

Great Hotel

I loved the pool area!

This hotel was very nice. My only concern was that the maid came by about 9 and we were in the room and therefore she left but never returned after we left for the turn down service. Other than that the hotel was very conveinent to Bourbon st and had parking which is a must in New Orleans.

Great Hotel For the Price- Skip the Restaurant

My fiance and I recently stayed at Maison Dupuy for a long weekend and were happy to escape to a hotel away from Bourbon St. The hotel room was standard- very plain, somewhat small but clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff who was very attentive, especially the bartenders by the pool. The drinks and food were very reasonably priced at the pool ($7 for kabobs and mounds of sides). The restuaurant/bar staff was clearly unhappy to be at work and less than pleasant. If you need to buy a drink take it out to the pool and bask in the sun. Will definitely stay here again!

Highly Recommend!!!

Very Pleased with the Maison Dupuy. The staff was considerate, friendly and made us feel like they were glad we stay with them. Rooms aren't huge but clean and comfortable. I plan to stay there when I am in New Orleans again. A few blocks walk to Bourbon Street. On site restuarant which was great and the prices were reasonable. The weekend we stayed in August they had grilled lunch items on the patio by the fountain, which were a good deal. Front desk was staffed all the time at least is was when ever I needed anything. The staff all needs a pat on the back and a thank you for a job well done. Thanks

All song and dance

Maison Dupuy could be a very nice place to stay. Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel wasn't very satisfying. We paid for a “room with a view”, and we received a window looking into a concrete wall. If you’re given two free cocktails as a bonus for your stay, don’t be impressed. The choices are limited to bottom shelf booze or the ever mysterious “house wines” (Yellowtail?). Overall, it is an alright hotel, just don’t set high expectations.

Everything Was Perfect Hotel

The Maison Dupuy was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely nice, helpful and responsive. The room was clean, comfortable, and classy. The common areas were beautifully furnished also, and the pool/spa area was lush and pretty. The location was perfect, close to the action of Burbon St, the train station, and just a few pleasant blocks to he river area attractions and the casino. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I will hope to book my next vacation to New Orleans at the Maison Dupuy.

The hotel room was very small. However it served the purpose and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. It was a good value for the price we got on hotel.com
