Description
See more detailsCapturing the spirit of the French Quarter, the Maison de Ville and Audubon Cottages is a unique 18th Century boutique-style hotel and collection of two- bedroom private cottages located between Bourbon Street and Royal Street in New Orleans, La. Ideal for romantic getaways, the hotel is the perfect blend of Old World elegance and New World excitement. Guests can board a streetcar and visit the Riverwalk and Harrah's Casino or meander the streets of the French Quarter, with quaint wrought iron balconies and shaded courtyards.
Guests of the Maison de Ville and Audubon Cottages ring a doorbell and are warmly shown into a small home-style foyer where their journey into aristocratic splendor begins. The hotel is divided into the main three-story building, which hosts 17 individually decorated guestrooms, and seven two-bedroom cottages located two blocks away. Guests are invited to enjoy the sparkling pool, located by the cottages and surrounded by lush tropical foliage. Each morning, guests may enjoy a complimentary Continental breakfast served in the courtyard or delivered to the guestrooms. During evenings, guests can sip complimentary port or sherry in the 1700's style parlor. Chefs at The Bistro at Maison de Ville prepare authentic French cuisine and offer an extensive wine selection in a Parisian bistro with red leather booths, wood floors and Impressionist-style paintings. Al fresco dining on the courtyard is available, weather permitting.
The 17 guestrooms and seven guest cottages of Maison de Ville and Audubon Cottages are individually decorated with period furnishings, hardwood floors and feather beds with luxurious high-thread-count linens. Suite bathrooms boast premium bath products.
