Mafolie Hotel

Great View

The Mafolie sits above Charlotte Amalia and provides a wonderful view of the harbor. A very nice breakfast is included. Dinner on the deck is outstanding. You can sit on the deck and watch the ships come in each day or watch the sunset hoping to catch a "green flash". They do not offer airport shuttle service, so catch a cab from the airport or rent a car as I do each year. The owners are very nice, the help always has a smile. My bed was very comfortable. This is an older property, but the location, view and prices are good for St. Thomas. I use this for one night before checking into my condo for 2 weeks.

Best view of the island. Get the Suite. Extra Towels.

Hi guys, the girl in the front desk amazing, very helpful. Restaurant expensive but great view. Pool old but very private..:) Free parking... Not a lot of places to hung out close by. Best view of the island. Rent a car and drive to "RedHock" o however you called area for drinks. Shared Taxi super cheap.

not happy with the location

The hotel is too far away to walk to anyplace and only one shuttle runs in the morning.you have to call a taxi to get off the hill the hotel is on,which cost ten dollars for each person,to go shopping or to the beach,or anywhere.then you have to pay to get back to the hotel. this can be very expensive. would not recomend.

A friendly place with a great view!

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Mafolie Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and the view was amazing. The rooms had a Caribbean feel to them, accompanied by a 10 foot pool and bar. The location was a little inconvenient, but the view made up for the inconvenience. The continental breakfast was also very delightful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great View

The Mafolie hotel is not too far from the airport, is very reasonably priced and has an amazing view!

Great hotel for the money

We stayed for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The view is outstanding as well as the restaurant. Breakfast was available every morning with the best banana muffins we have ever had! the staff was very helpful and had plenty of suggestion abou things to do and places to eat. Teh complimentary rides to the beach and downtown were great because the taxis were expensive.
