Loved everything about the hotel. The room was very comfortable, room service food was outstanding, and the workout facilities were great. Would definitely stay here again!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 48Was a nice, vintage hotel
Stayed 1 night & the room was small but very comfortable. All of the staff, except the breakfast servers, were very helpful, friendly & efficient. It was pricier than where we usually stay & the location was good but not as close as we believed to the FedEx. The breakfast was late,& not adequate for the number of people. Otherwise was very comfortable.

My wife and I were completely happy with our visit to the Madison Hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the attitude of the staff, to the amenities in the room.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 48Great location in downtown Memphis
I thought the Madison was a very nice location and good value. It's downtown very close to Madison street trolley, Beale St, restaurants and the river are a short walk away. Our room was a little smaller than I would have liked, sometimes the case with hotel conversions. Breakfast was good, and the hotel amenities were quite nice, as was Grill 83. I would definitely stay there again, but would opt for the king room.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 48Exceptional Hotel
The Madison is the place to stay in downtown Memphis. From the doorman/bellman to the front desk to the service staff to the bar/restaurant you won't find more gracious and hospitable service. Especially enjoyable was the rooftop bar and sitting area with great views of the Mississippi River. Large bathrooms and well-equipped rooms (robes, CD player, even an umberella.) We will definitately make the Madison our address when in downtown Memphis.

This is a very nice hotel. The decor was great, staff were very friendly, rooms quite comfortable. Have to valet park which can be a little crazy since you are unloading and loading on the road. About 4 block to bealle street. Would stay here again.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 48Best Hotel I've Stayed AT
Without a doubt, The Madison is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The hotel personnel were very polite, always willing to help, and were very responsive. Overall, the customer service was impeccable. In addition, my room looked like a suite, even though it was classified as a regular room. Furthermore, the bathroom was very spacious. My room was very clean when I arrived. Finally, The Madison is within convenient walking distance of the downtown tourist attractions.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 48Wonderful Experience!
My husband and I booked a one night stay at this hotel for our anniversary. The price was a little high but we really wanted to stay somewhere nice so we just splurged. I do have to say we were very impressed with the hotel!!! The staff was very friendly.. the room was really big. We had a king suite. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and also they have jacuzzi tubs which are really nice. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was nice. The hotel has a lot of special touches like fresh flowers etc. The Butcher shop is within walking distance and the food is very good. The only downfall is the valet parking is $23 a night. I did notice a charge for 6 bucks for something from the minibar on my receipt but they corrected it so be sure to check for unexpected charges
