Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 46Great location and views!
After reading reviews of B&Bs within Quebec City's old town, the Frontenac and the Hilton we decided that Loews Le Concorde sounded like an attractive deal. We had a spacious, comfortable room with an amazing view over the old town and down to the water. At check in the woman said she switched us to a view front room because it was out first visit -- nice touch! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location is next to clubs and restaurants, but you can only hear faint sounds of voices and throbbing music on Friday and Saturday nights. We liked being near Abraham's Plain and park grounds. It was my first stay at a Loews and I hope the other hotels compare.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 46OK FOR THE MONEY
LE CONCORDE WAS OK. THE LOCATION WAS ALSO OK DEPENDING UPON ONE'S NEEDS. IF THE OLD CITY OF QUEBEC IS THE PLACE ONE WANTS TO BE, THE WALK IS ABOUT 15 MINUTES DOWNHILL. HOWEVER, AFTER A LONG DAY IN THE OLD CITY GETTING BACK TO THE HOTEL MAY BE VERY TIRING AND A TAXI MAY BE NEEDED. NEVERTHELESS, THE VIEW FROM THE HOTEL AND ITS PROXIMITY TOTHE MOST BEAUTIFUL PARK IS ENJOYABLE. AND IF ONE IS INTO NOISY OUTDOOR CAFE'S THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. MY ONLY OBJECTION IS THE PHOTOGRAPH THAT IS PRESENTED ON HOTELS.COM. IT SHOWS THE HOTEL UPWARD FROM THE OLD CITY AND IT'S MISLEADING.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 46Outstading Hotel
Beautiful large, clean room. Very comfortable. Hotel itsel is beautiful. Very conveniently located about 10 min walk from the entrance to the old city. Many excellent restuarants in the vicinity. Lounge/restaurant on the top floor gives wonderful view. My only complaint is that the hotel charges for parking although when added to the price of the room, the total cost was not excessive.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 46Perfect Quebec Hotel for Us
We just returned from 3 nights at the Loews Le Concorde Hotel in Quebec and I couldn't wait to post this review. I don't think I've ever posted a hotel review to Hotels.com before but I gladly post one this time. The occasion was our 12th anniversary. We were torn between staying in Old Quebec or just outside. We opted for outside on the condition that we could get a room with a view of the old city. With excellent help from Hotels.com, we got exactly what we wanted: 24th floor facing the old city, the St. Lawrence Seaway and, of course the Frontenac Hotel a great place to look at but perhaps not so good to stay - much more expensive, much smaller rooms and nowhere near the convenience. The Loews Le Concorde hotel was immaculate and perfectly located for us. We had a choice of about 15 restaurants right outside our door. And the walk down Grand Allee to the old city gate took about 5 minutes. The staff at the hotel was exceptional. Two of the three nights we had nightcaps at the rotating restaurant at the top of the hotel (L'Astral). The view, including the sunset, was spectacular. We were seated immediately even though we never ate a meal there. The waiter did not push drinks leaving us alone to sip our drinks for the hour that we stayed. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was as comfortable as our bed at home. The refrigerator was very well stocked. And the bathroom had everything you could possibly need. I don't recall ever seeing q-tips before. The elevators were fast and efficient. We never had to wait even though the hotel was very busy. There were many escorted groups of teenagers which in other hotels would have been a problem but not at the Loews Le Concorde. All the kids were segregated to dedicated floors. We never knew they were there except when we saw them in the lobby. After driving for about an hour heading home, we discovered we had left our camera in the lobby as we checked out. One of the doorman had found it and put it away for safeke

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 46Great Location
Within walking distance of Old Quebec. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The only thing I did not like was the restaurant's menu. I like things simple and the menu was too exotic for my taste and a little pricey. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 46Great Views, Location and Price for Off Season
Wonderful room with a phenomenal view of the city, Chateau Frontenac and lovely Grand Allee. The beds were great, staff friendly and very comfortable. The room was a bit stained/dirty ( comforter and bathroom) but overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.
