Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 116Good value
The Loews Hotel is an excellent value. The service and staff were excellent. We asked for assistance several times to find a restaurant and the concierge was extremely helpful. The bed was a pillow top mattress and very comfortable. The only complaint we had was that it was a bit noisy at night. It seemed the walls were a bit thin and we could hear the people in the next room and also people talking in the hallway. Other than that, it was a very lovely hotel and I would stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 116Excellent Hotel
Stayed two nights with no problems. Bring earplugs if door slamming bothers you. Heavy hotel doors can cause you to wake up earlier than expected. For those who expect to walk to all local tourist attractions, the hotel is not in best location. If traveling with a car the Cherry Creek mall, Denver Museum of Science and History and downtown area are approximately a 10-15 minute drive. The hotel looks like an antique hotel where a business park developed around it. Overall very satisfied.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 116Certainly past its prime
The hotel is obviously moving towards extinction. The bathroom was old, and the sink did not drain in spite of a request for maintainance. The location is poor - if you are not attending a meeting at the hotel and comfortable eating all meals at the hotel, you are basically in the gulag.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 116Very nice hotel
The service personnel are outstanding and are very accommodating. I liked the fact that they have free valet service and in and out priveledges all day. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. Unfortunately, the beds were not that good. The mattress must have been old because it was not very firm and the pillows were lumpy. I was told I had a mountain view, but never saw the mountains. Maybe it was really cloudy up there, but I saw no mountains from my room. Also, I wish that the dining room had been open at 5pm for dinner, but it did not open until 6pm.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 116Great Hotel, good location, attentive staff
I stayed at this hotel for only 2 nights but the service and the hotel went past my expecations. Having never been to Denver before, I would probably stay here again. The only problem I encountered was that the front desk staff seemed a bit confused as to what the rooms contained. As an example, I was asked upon check in if I wanted a key to the mini bar and I agreed. However when I got to the room, the mini bar was not to be found. Upon a call to the front desk I was informed by another clerk that the mini bar's on my floor had been taken out. When I went down later to turn in the mini bar key, I was told that if I wanted a mini bar set up, the hotel would be happy to comply. So, no harm or foul. The staff was very attentive and this helped to make the experience. And as for the location, it was close for my needs but may be a bit far from "downtown" Denver as the hotel is south of downtown.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 116Big Dissapointment
Stale order in the room. We switched and still had the same problem. The room was not cleaned everyday.

Great value. I always stay at Loews when in Denver. Close to everything and yet far enough away from traffic noise. Very quiet. Staff is wonderful. Parking is free and the feeling of security is rewarding. Rooms are good sized and beds are extremely comfortable.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 116One night at Loews Denver
First, Bernardo at the door/valet was wonderfully friendly and kind. He was the highlight of the stay. When we asked him where we might eat he went out of his way to help. The room was clean except the window was not. It seemed to be the outside but it looked terrible and ruined the limited view and bothered me. About a half hour after our room service for breakfast, we got a call about removing our dishes; I stated we were not dressed yet. About half an hour after that call, housekeeping knocked on our door (about 9:30 a.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m.) We felt rushed out. Otherwise, it was an okay stay and for a good rate through hotels.com we might consider it again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 116Good value, but not close to the action downtown
Great and friendly staff, but not in the center of Denver activities. Good value and clean, comfortable room.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 116great coffee
Hotel was an older re-make but clean and comfortable. Only negative, it was a little noisy. Great Keurig coffee with Emeril coffee, nice and strong!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 116Didn't have the room I reserved over a month before
I reserved a room on hotels.com for a two bed hotel room. When we arrived for check in we were told there were no more two bed rooms available and they only thing they had was a Delux King room. Since our purchase was non refundable we stayed in the Deluxe King. The front desk lady did not offer us a roll out bed or any other options. I was disappointed that the room I reserved more than a month before was not available.
