Loews Denver Hotel

Great place, but too much nickel and diming

Beautiful luxurious hotel, with great personal service, but I don't like to be nickel and dimed for services that should be included. They charged extra for a roll away bed and they charged extra for wifi service that was painfully slow. Additionally, the 'gift shop' was two shelves in a closet with a few HBC items. Not exactly fully stocked. One high point was that when I ordered a New York steak, and they were out, the chef gave me the choice of better off-menu cuts for no extra charge. That is rare. Dinner was pricey, but the food was great. Lower priced hotels in the area may not be as luxurious, but they have comparable personal services and don't charge extra money for the others. I would stay here again, but only with a discounted room rate.

Not What I Reserved

I made a reservation for a room with two double beds. When my family arrived, we were told they were out of doubles and they had "upgraded" us to a room with a king and roll-a-way, at no added charge. This room did have a mountain view, if you could see them above the neon lights of Mattress World. It was not what we had imagined. Very disappointed in our stay.

Nice hotel

A little pricey for the location. Nice room, though. I think you're paying for the Loews name as there's really nothing that unique about the hotel itself.

Pet Hotel

Very nice "botique" hotel. They are known for allowing pets, so if you don't want to see dogs in the lobby, don't stay here. The rooms were well appointed and the service was friendly.

Great hotel

I like this hotel because its close to so many things. The hotel staff are very friendly and quick to help, and the room was clean, spacious and updated. The lobby and hallways had a funky smell...but who is to say that wasn't just a one time thing. Overall, I was impressed.

Superior Service

For business travelers this is a must stay facility. Staff are well trained and attentive to business traveler requirements. We would highly recommend!

Just a regular hotel. Not up to Loews reputation

I highly recommend this hotel

Great location to shopping or downtown. Service at restaurant is spectacular. Employees all very friendly and helpful. But then again, I have come to expect this from Loews Hotels.
