    The woman who checked me in was not what I would call friendly or terribly helpful. It seemed like she felt she was doing me a favor by checking me in. When I got to the room, the smell (unpleasant) was overwhelming. I was really tired and just wanted to sleep so I thought I'd air it out a bit by opening the door and the window. It helped a little but UGH! I ended up sleeping with the window open. I also found a hair on one of the towels as soon as I went into the bathroom to wash and dry my hands. There were stains on the small fabric throw at the foot of the bed, too, which were disgusting. Overall, NOT IMPRESSED! Sad thing is that I've stayed there before (in different room types) and really enjoyed the stay. I'm all about second chances, but, this stay was so bad that I would have to reconsider staying there again in the future.

Location. The Little America Hotel is located one mile from Temple Square, EnergySolutions Arena, Clark Planetarium, Salt Palace Convention Center and Gateway Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Hotel Features. The Little America Hotel's lobby is decorated in rich, warm tones and accented by French limestone fireplaces and polished, Spanish marble. This property offers five boutique shops, beauty services and in-room massage treatments. The hotel includes indoor and outdoor pools, and a fitness center. Discounted passes are available for full spa services at a neighboring property. The hotel includes 22,000 square feet of meeting space with 18 separate rooms and a 9,000-square-foot ballroom. An on-site business center provides high-speed Internet access, and photocopy and fax services. Private alcoves and a glowing fireplace attract diners to the Little America Steakhouse, where menu options include prime rib, seafood and steak entrees.
