the condition of the room has a lot left to be desired. the do charge for parking also (not used to little motels doing that) not as close to the fall as you think

Needs Improvement

Rooms were really dirty. Bath Tub was dirty and smelling. Just the location was convient as it was near the Falls. But, I feel it is not worth for the money.

Craptastic

This hotel is a dream come true, as long as the dream to which it is compared was your worse nightmare!!! The maintenance was horrible. We were there for one night in August 2009. It was a hot humid day and the air conditioning in the room did not work. I reported it to the front desk. The said they could not do anything about it. All they could do was right it down to be fix sometime in the future. The housecleaning does not do there job. They have liquid soap and shampoo in dispensers (high class) they were empty. There were no towels in the room and the carpet was dirty. There was no mattress pad over the mattress, only a cover sheet and in judging the type of local clientele, this was a bit disconcerting. As alluded to in my last statement. They do appear to attract local business women from the area. I do not believe it necessary to elaborate on this topic; however, it is worth considering before you bring your family here. I did not expect much from this hotel. I wanted an inexpensive place close to the falls. They advertise as 1 block away from the falls. This is basically true as a block is not a standardized unit of measure. There were many other affordable hotels just as close. The Days Inn was one, Howard Johnsons was even closer. There was a best Western that was very close. I think these were all slightly more expensive, perhaps $20 more a night. It is my opinion that it is worth the extra as this place is a fester pool of filth. The attached restaurant was filthy. The plates they had out to be used for the buffet were dirty; I had to bring it to their attention. They need to fire their dishwasher as the plates, cups, and utensils were all dirty. The one good thing I will say is the staff in the hotel and the restaurants were friendly. I feel bad for them that they are not working at a better place. Hopefully another hotel will offer them a job.

NEVER AGAIN!

We went to Niagara to have our Wedding, we checked in the day before the Wedding Day. As to my surprise, everything that was describe in this "INN" was totally the opposite, I mean really the opposite! We got their Family Room Suite since we have our kids with us. When we got there, no telephone, I immediately reported this problem to the Management and their excuse was the former guests in that same room stole the telephone. Now I really have no chance in hell to hava a telephone for my wedding guests to contact me but, everytime somebody asked them to be connected to our room, they still connect them knowing that there is no phone, hello?; it wasn't a 2 queen size bed instead we got 2 double beds; no iron/ironing board; Light is not working in the front door (inside of the room); no internet; no balcony(as stated, instead all we can see is a filthy junk yard from our window); no coffee maker(that's upon request); there is a TV but no cable (channels very limited, if i remember 1 channel is the only one you can see clearly)last but not the list; we end up having a hotel pet too - a big centipede! Now you tell me can you really sleep comfortably thinking it will crawl on you anytime while you are asleep? Biggest Mistake, I even beg my friends to stay in the same Inn the day before we checked in.. Will I come back? Maybe when Hell Freezes! I won't even recommend this to my worst enemy. My friends encountered problems with them too.

OK, needs more maintenance

New owners have only had it 7 months and are working the upgrade the maintenance of the facilities. Buffet breakfast was good but did not include any beverages. Pool was out of service the night we arrived but opened the next day. Good location to Falls and other attractions. Ashley was very pleasant during our checkin and checkout. Hotels.com did not show that there was an additional charge to park at the motel.

Old School

We stayed at the Lincoln because we figured what we saved on living comfort we'd spend on Niagra entertainment. The place was what you might expect for the price, and free breakfast buffets. The buffets left something to be desired in quality, but absolutely did the trick of keeping our family of five fueled til dinner time. Overall we had fun in our room and a blast on our entire trip. Our taxi driver on the way said we'd done well to save on the luxury of some of the giants on the falls, and I agree.

"THE DUMP"

Beds were not made, AC unit didn't work, no towels, bathroom floor and carpet were very dirty. Would not recommend this hotel.

Needs Improvement

This was a cheap hotel and it looked like one too. The room was dirty and in the bathroom there was a bunch of baby spiders and a used razor in the tub. On the bed there was no fitted sheet. There was only two top sheets so it kept coming off while we slept. The tv only had a few channels and the hot tub was not working. They were getting it fixed though. They also leave the room doors open all day until someone checks in, so there were a lot of flies in our room and that was really annoying. I would not stay here again, so I could not recommend this hotel to any one I knew either.

Highly Not Recommended

This hotel doesn't guarantee the room you booked!!! We booked a two-queen-bed room, but the hotel only gave us a room with just one queen bed. We asked the front desk person to change the room, he said that they can't guarantee the type of room we booked, and the hotel was full for that night. So we called hotel.com customer service trying to get the issue resolved, but the front desk person left while we were making the call, so that he couldn't be reached by the Hotel.com rep. Our family of 4 had to stay in this one queen bed room for the night. So, AVOID this hotel if you could, otherwise your vacation might be ruined!

NOT recommended!

I would do not recommend this motel to anyone. The Motel website is very deceiving. This motel is no where to being close to nice. Don’t be fooled by the name “Fallsview”. This motel is nowhere close to the falls. There is a 48 hours cancellation policy. After seeing the place and you found it unacceptable to your standard, you will be charged a one night stay. They are very greedy in my opinion.

Hotel is a ripoff

This Hotel is a big ripoff. Do not stay here.
