Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 58Good for the money
It was a very nice room with a large desk and a recliner. I enjoyed the excellent cardio machines in the small fitness room. Breakfast was a little bare-boned, but plenty to fill up on. The one down side was that all the common areas smelled strongly of smoke, though my non-smoking room did not.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 58Great Location -Shuttle to Airport
Very Close to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late, after 11:00pm, and left early 4:30am. First room assigned to us was not made up, sheets stripped off bed. Assigned second room, it was ready, but the white duvet cover was not clean, the sheets underneath were clean. Duvet cover did not have anything inside of it! It was just used as the bed cover. Lots of pillows. It is a former Hampton Hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 58Great Rooms, Staff Needs Improvement
The room was excellent quality for the price, and came with several niceties (fridge, microwave, desk, etc) which many lack. A nice hotel, despite the surrounding area. Housekeeping seemed a little inconvenient: they stopped by super-early, asked if we needed anything, and then moved on... and didn't come back.

Room was clean and comfortable. Everything actually worked in it as well. I spend a cpl weekends a month out of town and plan on staying there again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 58Great location from Mich U
Came up for a Penn State/Mich Football game, only twenty minutes from the stadium. Price that can't be beat, and ultra comfortable beds. Only complaint is the toaster in the lobby didn't work.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 58Excellent room for the money!!!
I stayed at the Lexington Hotel in October of 2009 for two nights. I chose this hotel because it had the best rates in that area. I was extremely satisfied with my stay there! It was the nicest "cheap" hotel I've seen in a long time. Very quiet and clean. There were only a few minor problems that I had: The iron must have been dropped a few times because there was a huge crack at the base of it and water leaked out every time I tried to iron my clothes. Also, the bathroom light would go off by itself (but as long as I kept the heat-lamp on I was still able to see). Lastly, the free breakfast that they had was not well supplied. By the time I got downstairs to eat, there were only a few picked over English muffins and cereal left. I still highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Detroit!

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 58Pretty good, close to airport.
I wish the bathroom looked a little cleaner, the room itself was great though.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 58Too loud & beds are reallly uncomfortable.
This hotel defnitley does not deserve the 3 star rating that we saw on-line. At best maybe a 2. Never got to have breakfast as both times we stayed we left before the breakfsat was served. The hotel walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the halls. The airport is so close that you are located right under the flight path which makes it hard to get much sleep.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 58Great room for the money.
My husband and I stayed there for the weekend for a conference that was in a nearby city. We had a King room and it was very roomy and nice. The desk has a large work area and worked out well for us and the recliner was the icing on the cake. We travel 3 times a month to conferences and have had many experiences with bad hotels. Outstanding room for the money. Would go back again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable rates in this nearly-new, clean and comfortable hotel.
