Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 124Outstanding hotel
For the price of a "normal" hotel room in most major cities, we got a huge suite that faced out on the hotel garden, breakfast and internet access, luxurious bathrobes to wear around, and a staff that could not have been more helpful. Only problem was the smell of kerosene (?) in the back hallways. It's possible that they were testing the heat that week in preparation for the cold season, but it was really overpowering.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 124More Than We Hoped For
We were a bit apprehensive about staying in an older hotel in Vieux Montréal, but we ended up pleasantly surprised by how modern and comfortable it was. Our suite was extremely clean and maintained. Our room looked out onto the garden restaurant which we also found to be extremely good. Breakfast was included with the room and it was more than adequate. Walking distance to most tourist areas in under 5 minutes making it a particularly good choice to be surrounded by good food and attractions. It was on the higher end of our budget, but was a plurge I'm glad we made.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 124Very nice hotel and great stay for the money
The hotel was in the same block as the Basilique of the Notre Dame. The continental breakfast was very fresh every day and in a beautiful restaurant area. We were offered and upgrade as arrival. The suite has large bathroom. It was a great stay for the money.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 124Fantastic
Our stay here was truely wonderful. The suite was enormous with entryway and living/kitchen in addition to the bedroom. The bathroom was really the highlight of this hotel (and possibly the highlight of the whole trip.) Complete with roomy shower and separate large bathtub and the most amazing vanity I've ever seen. The countertop and two sinks are all made of one continuous piece of glass. The shampoo, lotion etc..are high quality products and there is a countertop 5x mirror. Also, I spent as musch time as I possibly could in the robe and wished I could bring it home and wear it everyday. The whole place is designed beautifully with curved lines, dark wood and real art. You get a sense that someone took pride in the architecture and aqnd designed the whole hotel to act as one piece of art, right down to the details. it even smells delicious. The continental breakfast was an array of fine jams, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit. As could be expected, the sofa bed was far from comfortable, but I just pulled the whole mattress onto the floor and slept there. Overall, this place was a paradise.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 124Outstanding hotel
This hotel was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, clean, well run. Our room was a one bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room and it was perfect. The room seemed very new, exceptionally clean with plenty of space and the layout of the rooms themselves were very comfortable for three people. The staff was extremely helpful and knew the area in a way they could recommend excellent restaurants and activities. We would stay there again.

Stayed 5 nights for vacation. Hotel was located in old Montreal, just behind Notre Dame Basillica. Very comfortable, large suite. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value for a hotel located in Old Montreal. All the amenities you are looking for with a very helpful staff. You won't regret staying here, we didn't.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 124Beautiful hotel with one caveat
This was a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location in old Montreal. The room was large and lovely. The only issue was the odd nickle-and-diming we experienced. I paid for a room for two with breakfast and parking included. At the front desk, the woman would only give me one breakfast voucher because "they do not give vouchers to kids, only adults" and in my case, my second was my 12-year-old son. Now, I understand the policy if kids are included free in rooms, that you only get free breakfast for the two adults included in the hotel room. But I did not have another adult with me. The woman at the desk refused to see the nuttiness of her position and I just let it be. Later I called the front desk and got another woman who immediately understood what I was saying and had the second voucher send right up to my room. A good thing too because the breakfast was wonderful!!! My son and I both enjoyed it. Similarly, when I got the bill they tried to charge me extra for parking. I had to point out that I had already paid for parking in my package and they fixed the bill. Still, at a place like this, these things should not happen. With that one warning, definitely stay here and enjoy!
