A very good hotel -- pleasant rooms, particularly good bathrooms; fine service, wonderful location. Breakfast could be better.

Trip Type: Romance Review 20 of 124Beautiful Romatic Hotel
Situated in the beautiful old port section of Montreal, this is the perfect spot to begin your tour. The rooms are lovely and quite large. Our suite had an actual bedroom which allowed my husband to get up, go to the living room, sip coffee, and read the paper (delivered daily to the room) without disturbing me if I wanted to sleep a bit longer. The breakfast buffet is very nice - the continental is included; for a minimal additional amount, you can add a full buffet on mornings when you find yourself wanting a bit more. The terrace restaurant was a lovely place to have a cocktail, and while we didn't eat there, the food looked wonderful. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. We look forward to staying at Le Saint Sulpice again!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 21 of 124Fantastic boutique hotel
This hotel is hip and comfortable with large rooms, and friendly and helpful staff. It's located in the heart of Old Montreal, which is a bit cut off from the rest of the city but still a great location and really only a few minutes by cab from downtown. Stayed one night with my girlfriend on a combined business/plesaure trip and it made our time in the city even more enjoyable. The best part: L'Occitane toiletries! A great place to stay on your next visit.

Trip Type: Family Review 22 of 124The only place to stay in Montreal
We stayed for five nights during the Jazz Festival. Everything about the hotel is great: location, ambiance, convenience. I will be staying here again next year.

For such a nice hotel they should have queen beds in the guest rooms. Doubles are just too small for even average sized adults.

Trip Type: Romance Review 24 of 124Great hotel, but not designed for women
The hotel accommodations and location are great, but upon entering the room, I quickly concluded that the hotel must have been designed by a man. The bathroom, though of decent size and beautiful enough, lacked some key design elements for the female traveler. Counter space was a little limited, and the only robe hooks were located over the only full length mirror. There was only one hook for a towel in the shower - most women use two towels (one for hair, one for body). The lighting was inadequate, with no shower or tub lights. The overall aesthetic of the room was a little rigid and masculine, which was inconsistent with the sinuous S motifs found throughout the hotel's design concept. I doubt anyone else would notice or care about design details like these, but better design decisions would have increased my satisfaction. A word to the wise - don't eat brunch in the garden on Sunday. We paid about $125CAD for brunch - pure insanity! The location is perhaps the best thing about this hotel. Walking distance to excellent food and fun! Relatively quiet for peaceful nights on the balcony.

Trip Type: Family Review 25 of 124Wonderful time
One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Lots of room, quiet and convenient to Old Montreal. Rained a lot so unable to enjoy the outside garden, but would definitely return.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 28 of 124Great location
We really enjoyed this hotel in its close location to the old town. We didn't need a car. We walked everywhere. The experience was also quite nice that it was off season and the weather was still warm. Our suite was huge. I got a great deal on this web site. Do watch that at breakfast that you eat the cold breakfast as they will charge you for the full buffet. The wait staff is not forth coming on this information. Our rate included the cold buffet and it was enough for us. I highly recommend this place.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 29 of 124Le Saint Sulpice
The staff was helpful and polite. The room was large. The bathroom was very modern with little convenient space near the sink or in the very large shower for personal items. The street in front of the hotel is closed for repair.
