Elegant Hotel with good location

Overpriced

We were generally satisfied with the room in this hotel, but thought the staff was a bit arrogant. They also embarrassed us by making a point of our booking through Hotels.com, as though that was something undesireable. They also commented that of course, since the booking was through Hotels.com, we would surely understand why we would not be included in the complimentary breakfast. We thought they should be happy they had a booking, and if they accept the booking, they should give all guests the same benefits. The hotel appeared to be quite empty (dining room and bar quite empty.) The room was nice and it was generally convenient, but we would not stay there again or recommend it to others.

Magical Hotel

Le Meridien boasts a great location (across from a beautiful park and around the corner from the main train station) and an incredible staff. From the porter to the desk staff to the concierge, we received attentive, sincere service. The evening concierge was one of the most helpful I've ever met. The food was outstanding and an excellent value, and the room was top notch. I would visit again in a heartbeat, but I'd stay much longer the next time!

Outstanding Hotel

Ideally located for walking to the park, mall, historical sights. Very clean rooms, breakfast buffet quite substantial.

rooms are large (not typical European size) Clean and contemporary (normal for Meridian)
