We didn't take the airport shuttle and took the train/metro from the airport and had a tricky time finding the hotel. After we found it and had a little practice it was easy to get places because of the Metro/train station across the street. There is a grocery store next store to the hotel which was good. The lobby area is really nice so I expected a great room. The first room they put us in was horrible. It smelled so musty and the beds were old and sunken in the middle. The run down and everything was just old. So we went to the front desk and asked for a different room. They have some more recently renovated rooms that she said we could have for an extra charge, but we just looked at her and then she said she would go ask if we could have a newer room free of charge. Luckily they said yes and our next room was MUCH better. Cleaner, newer, nicer. SO, the hotel is good if you can get a newer room, but I don't know if I would risk it. The concierge was very kind and helpful.

Great Choice

Wonderful location. Directly across the street from the stop for the Air France shuttle to/from the airport. And, the Metro just around the corner. Many shops, stores, and restaurants in the neighborhood. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and the bathroom were comfortable and adequate size, especially by European standards. Only the bed was sub-par. Definitely will come back to this hotel if I get to Paris again.

Quiet Area - Great Location

The hotel was in a great location! It is not in a tourist area so it was nice and quiet. The train station is across the street and gives you access to 4 - 5 metro lines, and you can pretty much get anywhere in Paris in 15 minutes. You can take the Air France Les Cars bus from either airport, and it drops you off right across the street at "Gare Montparnasse". There is a supermarket just next to the hotel, but if you walk down the street, there is bigger supermarket "Simply Supermarket" that has a ton more options (2 floors). There is free internet access in the lobby of the hotel. The room was a decent size for a European hotel, but we didn't spend much time at the hotel since much of the day was spent exploring Paris. There is a neat Jazz club right next to the hotel, which would be a good place for drinks, and plenty of places to eat in the area. The best part was the location. Where ever we were we could easily find a direct line to the hotel since there were so many options, and the airport bus took a lot of the hassle out of getting to the hotel. I would certainly come back again.

would not recommend

Staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, including the concierge who, rather than answering my questions about city events, repeatedly referred me to the newsstand and told me to buy the newspaper to find the answers to my questions. Pictures on the hotel website did not resemble my room, which hadnt been renovated in 30 years, including the old box wall mounted barely functioning hair dryer. NOT a 4 star hotel. only good thing about thelocation is the air france bus across the street but at 6 am on a sunday, with not a soul around, the bell boy still wouldnt help me across the street with my luggage and left me to struggle on my own.

Not a 4 stars but reasonable price

The hotel is rated 4 stars but the facility needs update. May be that is what is expected in Paris for 4 stars? Regardless it's location was convenient and clean.

Awsome Hotel

The Hotel was "OUTSTANDING"! The hotel staff was very helpful when asking for directions, train stations, food/shopping. they provided us maps of the subway and the city. Also, great location. The subway was right across the street from the hotel which gave us access to all of the attractions with in minutes. Free wireless internet in the lobby only. There was wired internet but cost 15 Euro for 24hr access. Hotel food was also excellent.

Not Bad For The Money

This hotel was in a good location in the middle of Paris. The Metro system across the street gave us easy access to all the major attractions for just a few Euro's each. The Hotel restaurant was not that great. Very quiet rooms and atmosphere. Overall a good experience.

Excellent hotel for Paris

Staff was extremely helpful and the room was perfect! Bathroom was very spacious too! Train station was just across the street, and movie theaters 2 blocks away with English originals. Would definitely stay again at this hotel. Con: Paying for internet was the only problem. That and 10,00 Euro drinks at the bar, but that is expected!

Very Nice Hotel

This hotel is very nice and convenient. The staff is attentive and tries to help in any way they can. I did try to check in at 2pm as hotels.com said that 12pm was my check in time but the hotel said it was 3pm and no room was availalble. After a fuss they did mysteriously find me a room. Other than that you will always have a pleasant stay here.
