    The hotel tries to be a 4 star, but it's really a upper-class 2-star or lower-end 3-star. Rooms are small, bathrooms are tiny, breakfast is fast-food quality (worse than you can get in any bar around Trapani). My recommendation: if you are looking for a cheap, clean place on the way to Egadi Islands, this could be it. It's close to the port and it's very decent. But don't be fooled, it's no Hilton.

    This hotel was just fantastic. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and located right near the port to the Egadi Islands. The room for 3 was like a suite with a kitchen, sleeper living room, and a bedroom. The air conditioning worked well and the breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel in Sicily.

The Le Chiavi di San Francesco is a traditional style hotel with a cream façade situated opposite the island of Egadi in Trapani, 100 metres from the port. The four- floor hotel features 16 air-conditioned guestrooms individually decorated in a traditional style in soft colours. All guestrooms include work desks with Internet connections, televisions, direct-dial phones, refrigerators, minibars, and bathrooms with hair dryers.

Guests can enjoy an al fresco breakfast on the tiled terrace and take in spectacular views over the sea and Egadi Island. Room service is also on offer between certain hours. Trapani's Port is a 100 metre stroll away, and boats depart to the charming towns of Levanzo, two kilometres away, and Favignagna, three kilometres away, on the Island of Egadi.
