At the beach but...

Of course your at the beach, just a few steps from your room. The room was clean and functional, but no coffee with the coffee machine (i told the desk an i've received one poor decaffeinated with no spoon, no sugar, no milk...)... The people at the desk was, how to say... Looked like we disturbed them, eating a pizza with a total lack of commercial sense... Awful... A really bad bad experience that put a shadow on our 2 night stay... Otherwise, the pool was very very noisy because of the bar's stereo, and, I repeat, the only "charm" of this place is to be on the beach, otherwise, forgot it!

REASONABLE ON THE WATER

GREAT RATE WITH REALLY COOL TIKI BAR THAT WAS SLAMMIN BUSY EVEN ON A MONDAY AND TUESDAY. HAD A GREAT TIME FOR A REASONABLE PRICE

Careful: mold/mildew alert!

This is an old building with old fixtures that should have been replaced many years ago. The tub/shower was chocked full of mold/mildew and a simple cleaning would never fix the problem.

Loved It!

We are planning to come back later this summer just me and my husband.

Average hotel

The "beachside" Lauderdale hotel is not actually beachside. Some of the rooms are, but ours was across the street. Even so, it was a nice place and the beachside tiki bar was awesome with great live music everday and great food. I would recommend it, although it is quite far from bars and clubs.

Horrible

Entire hotel smelled of mildew had to leave the room and transfer to a new one. We weren't the only totally unsatisfied guests. Others were complaining about the same things.

Guest did not leave a comment.

Great Location and Room for good Price

We stayed one night in the Hotel with our three kids before boarding a cruise. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was remodeled and very clean and comfortable. The location was awesome! Just be aware that they have two buildings. One right on the beach with a view and a second building just across the street. Both are very close to beach, but if you are looking to see the ocean when you wake up, you will want to request the beach front building. I will definitely stay here again!

Excellent Location but HORRIBLE customer service

Good part:This hotel is great for location.Right at the beach with shops and restuarants within walking distance.The hotel itself is okay...nothing fancy.It is good for maybe a night or 2.They need to update it a little more.The bar has good entertainment and tasty drinks.Breakfast consists of eggs,potatoes and toast with juice and coffee...that's it so do not expect anything else. Bad Part:Customer service at the front desk was the worst !! Bryan was a very rude man with absolutely no customer skills with hotel guests.He argues with everyone and will hassle you if you ask him for anything.It was like pulling teeth for those free drink coupons.He would not even give me the breakfast ones either.He stresses out with customers and he is like a time bomb that is ready to explode.He cannot handle simple tasks at the front desk.The manager(absent at the time I was there) needs to replace him.If you ask any requests from him or need anything...forget it as you won't get it.Worst customer service I have ever experienced in a hotel in my life !!!

Great Location

Good hotel, great location - right on the beach. If you want to sleep, don't get a room by the pool. Drunkies were out there past 130am "Woo-hooing". Had an early flight the next morning and couldn't get my kids to sleep.
