Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 1 de 40Gorgeous views; quiet
What a beautiful hotel! Quite different than the ordinary hotel. Instead of walking down a hallway to reach your room, you are carted around by pink & white jeeps. We had room 448, which had a fantastic view. The staff were all extremely friendly and honestly wanted everyone to have a good stay. The beach club rocks...just look out for tiny jellyfish in the saltwater lagoon! =) My husband and I can't wait to go back-could not imagine staying anywhere else in Acapulco.

Beautiful hotel with outstanding views. The hotel is already on a hillside but the higher your room the more spectacular the view. If you can manage the price, reserve a junior suite with a private pool on the fourth level. Bellavista restuarant, looking over Acapulco Bay was magnificent. The outdoor Sunset Bar at 6 PM to watch the sunset over old Acapulco was fantastic. No beach at the hotel, a private club on the ocean that you have to have hotel transportation take you too is a slight inconvenience. Others have complained about the wait at check-in, waiting for jeeps to take you to and from your rooms, etc. We experienced none of that. Prompt, courteous and very friendly staff. This is an older hotel so expect some challenges but all in all, a wonderful experience and we will go back soon.

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 4 de 40stay away from the discoteque.!!
Las Brisas is a great hotel if you get the right hacenda! We were enjoying our stay until the exceptionally loud music started at 10:30 p.m. At 4 a.m. when my wakeup call came I asked the person if there were any night clubs nearby... yes, there was a discoteque that played music until 5 a.m. The music was so loud that we couldn't sleep the entire night.. would've changed rooms earlier but somehow our children were sleeping thru the music... ask to be put the farthest away from the night club... the sound does carry up the hill

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 6 de 40Gorgeous but No Sleep
We loved the hotel and had no problem checking in. We were concerned with the number of steps to our casitas but the hotel staff carried our bags down and made sure were were set. The casitas (we had two) were lovely and the pool was just right! There were flowers in the room and also in the pool which gave us a real tropical feeling. The little car came to pick us up for the restaurant which was wonderful (men wear long pants) as was the food. All of this with the most gorgeous view of Acapulco city. Truly, the hotel and restaurant were out of a Hollywood set. We had to be out of our rooms by 4:00a.m. for a 7:00a.m. flight so we looked forward to a good but short night's sleep. At 10:00 p.m. we heard disco music and called the front office to see if the noise was coming from one of the guest's casitas. They said they would check. I waited and called again and was told that there was a disco right below us on the road. Well--it pounded and pounded and no one had any sleep. It was still pounding as we left. Whether it was just our room location or whether the whole resort was filled with the noise I can't say. It would have been nice to know that this would happen so we could have changed our plans. It ruined our feelings about a lovely place. The staff really tried so hard to make us comfortable and it was a place we had looked forward to visiting.

Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 7 de 40Las Brisas is great to bad it's in Acapulco Mexico
The hotel was outstanding. However we were robbed by the local police of 600 pesos for a red light violation that never happened. Would not recommend Acapulco as a vacation spot until they straighten out their corrupt police.

Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 8 de 40Wonderful, relaxing long weekend
The hotel was wonderful - having a private pool was very romantic and relaxing. The only downer was the Buena Vista restaurant. The food was just not that good. It's a beautiful setting but I expected higher quality dining. The dishes has heavy sauces that covered the taste, the fish was over cooked.

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 10 de 40Get past check-in and experience the worth it!
I read a recent guest review about delays at check-in and fully agreed. I have stayed at Las Brisas for the last four years and experienced the same. The hotel seems to think that seating you in a beautiful atmosphere and allowing you to wait for personal assistance while serving you a refreshing beverage is a fitting welcome when most of us have been traveling all day and just want on room. This year I cut to the chase and asked to be checked in immediately. I declined their room selection as I am very familiar with the hotel layout and have very specific wants--Sun on the pool from AM to Sunset, privacy but security as I am traveling alone. They were very accommidating and the bellman showed me other options and ultimately I selected the same Jr. Suite I had occupied the previous year. The room was not ready but they offered the room next door for me to rest in until mine was ready. This was not the first time I had requested a room change only to be far more pleased. On my third day of this stay my air conditioning was in need of repair and they hotel very promptly when notified of the problem provided me an upgrade to a Master Suite and assisted with my move. The property is beautiful and my new room was perfect. I am always pleased when staff recognition is evident at a property. I was welcomed by many familiar faces, hand shakes and some hugs, both on arrival and departure. Room service, both the quality of the personal and the food, is very good. Housekeeping is very thorough and the bellmen and transportation very courteous. I look forward to this trip every year and over the years have established relationships with other properties in Acapulco. I look forward to returning to Brisas. It is quite special and unique.

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 11 de 40Outstanding Hotel
The Las Brisas Acapulco is a 5 Star resort which caters to it's customers to the extent that you do not want to leave! The rooms are absolutly beautiful and the view from your private balcony is breathtaking. You awake each morning to a continental breakfast, which is delivered to your room via a private "portal", so you do not have to be concerned about your state of dress. You eat looking out over Acapulco bay. Every room, or Casita as it is called, either has a private swiming pool, or at worst, shares the pool with two other casitas. The hotel is located on the side of a very steep hillside, but you do not have to be concerned as you are transported everywhere on the hotel grounds by pink and white jeeps which are summoned by the press of a speed dial on your room phone. There is no tipping of the staff as the gratuities are built into the rates. There are several very good resturants located on the hotel grounds, but if you want to eat "in" room service is very reasonable, efficient and quite elegant. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Acapulco.

The hotels location outside the city and close to new glamorous restaraunts provides a restful stay out of the crush of the city streets, great access to dining and puts you close to the more updated areas outside the tourist area. The hotel's transportaion efficiency within the resort area makes life simple whether you simply go to the restaraunts on site, visit other friends or go to the beach and pool locations. Courtesy from the emplyees makes all a pleasant vacation should be.

This resort was no doubt the best we have ever stayed at and we have been to quite a few. The service was outstanding, the "casita" was large and very comfortable with outstanding views and our own pool at the front door. We could have not wanted a better place to relax and have a great time.

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 14 de 40Las Brisas - Service & Transport
The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located on the cliff side. However, when I tried to check in - there were 8, yes 8 people on the front desk and I was the only guest. They immediately told me my room was ready - but it still took more than half an hour to get checked in! During this time I asked what the delay was at least 3 times and was asked to have a seat and wait. Eventually after standing over the desk and personally hailing a bellboy - 15 mins later we arrived at the room. I also had to ask the bellboy 2 -3 times to drive us to the room. And there were no other customers there! My colleagues arrived as I was getting into the Brias Jeep to go to the room - later they told me they waited nearly an hour to get into their room. And again there was no one else in the lobby - apart from the 8 people "serving" behind the front desk. Not a great introduction to this hotel. They were told the bellboy was busy taking me to my room! I certainly "saw" more that one jeep and bell boy. Similarly, to get to the beach area you had to get a jeep to the lobby and then a mini-van to the beach area. Again I waited over 30 minutes in the lobby for the Hotel transport to the beach. The hotel was empty and I had to ask twice for the bell desk to radio the driver. They just seemed to not care. So from leaving my room to arriving at the Hotel beach it took nearly 45 minutes. Obviously the hotel has been beautifully kept and my room had a breathtaking view, the food was good and generally the staff very friendly - they just need to refocus on actually "accommodating" the need of the hotel guests and not their perceived needs. One final note from a green perspective, Las Brisas uses Styrofoam cups everywhere - which is not very environmentally friendly or attractive. I hope this note encourages the hotel to change to a more suitable alternative.
