Great Little Getaway

This was a great alternative to staying right near the volcano in town. The resort itself is right in the middle of San Lorenzo Cloud Forest. It is absolutely beautiful and a fantastic place for hiking and bird watching. They have nature trails of varying difficulty and nature guides at your disposal. The ONLY fallback I found was that if you plan on spending multiple days doing activities around Arenal Volcano...the trip gets a bit tedious. It is about 45 minutes to an hour one way to get into La Fortuna from the resort. Despite this, I would definitely recommend Lands In Love. Also, the Canopy/Adventure Cable tour is right next to it...and well worth the experience! Also of note: They are EXCELLENT at organizing any tour imaginable including very punctual transportation.
