Needs updating

A nice place to stay. Needed some maintenance, it has aged. Staff nice and very convenient to surrounding restaurants and shopping.

A Fine Hotel

Lancaster Host is conveniently located to all attractions in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. It is a short drive to beautiful scenery and is a good value for the price.

Needs Improvement

This is an old facility. The room we were given looked out on the trash pick up area. Noise early in the A.M. woke us up.

Nice place/crappy service.

This was a very nice(if sprawling) Hotel/resort. We stayed one night, but had some issues with desk staff being "all there". I needed a washing machine and the only ones available were on the other side of the hotel. When I asked at the desk where the nearest one was she told me and I walked a very long way to get there. Only to find no washing soap available to buy. After an equally long walk back, I got a small box from the same clerk and made the trek once more. They seemed more interested in the friends hanging out at the front desk and their text messaging than in thinking "Customer Service".

Water Temp. in Outdoorpool less then 75 F!!!, Babypool out of order

Great hotel but both Pools (Inside and Outside)to cold for the Kids!!

very nice hotel

everything was very nice, i just was not pleased that there was a "no refund at all" policy. Emergencies do happen.

Needs Improvement

You do not get what you think.The rooms are cheap,dark and outdated.The best part was the pool.I felt tricked

We arrived at midnightvery tired and eager to check in. Our checkin took an hour and a half because we were assigned smoking rooms after we specifically requested non smoking. We had a pregnant womman, children with asthma therefore smoking rooms was out of the question. The next morning, we were moved to poolside nonsmoking rooms which were wonderful! It was a hassle having to move our bags again, and waiting so long for our check in, but the manager Jenny M. was very accomodating and gave us restitution! We will stay there again despite the problems because of Jenny!

Perfect for Children

This is our 2nd yr in a row we stayed at Lancaster Host, it's perfect, close to Dutch Wonderland, outlets, extremely kid friendly! Our 2 yr old especially enjoyed the KidZone!

Great Location...

However it was a little pricey since the rooms do not match up with the lobby etc. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable.It would have been nice to have a mini refrigerator and microwave but it didn't. The ice machine hardly gave any ice. The pool is styled like a resort. I think that some people use this hotel for their vacation. I'm glad we stayed there because of the convenient location. I don't think that I'd go back there again.
