Not satisfied

This was probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. We had booked 2 rooms in advanced and when we got there both rooms we started with were gross and not clean at all. It looked like someone had just left them from staying in them and no one had cleaned it. They gave us new rooms 4 different times and they were just as gross as the 1st ones. We finally settled for the best of the 6-8 rooms they had shown us and they weren't much better but we didn't have much of a choice either. We even offered to clean the rooms our self but they told us that the cleaning lady's were gone and thy couldn't get into the closet. Then we needed an extra blanket and a couple of towels and they didn't have any extra. It defientally was not worth the money we had to pay to stay there and if I was hotels.com I would take it off thier list until thy cleaned up their act. The two ladies at the front desk did their best to help us and were very friendly they just didn't have much to work with. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very disappointing and overrated for the price.

no hot water and the pool was infested with termites

This was a nightmare ... alot of ball teams and a family reunion. It was like a movie with Eddie Murphy ... 100 people in the pool in their clothes ... no hot water to bathe in a tub that would not drain. Termites everywhere ... in the pool, bathroom, sidewalks.

Good room for the money

If your looking for a good room for a reasonable price...this hotel is it.

Excellent

The hotel was excellent. The only thing that bugged me was the size of the bathroom, Very small. If you are a tall person you will see why I say this. Overall though I was very pleased with the hotel. Would stay there again,

good for the price

Descent place to crash. we planned last minute and knew it would be away from the beach. worked out fine for us. The bed did have some hair which my girlfriend freaked out about. They promised me a $20 refund, but I never got it.

"Ok. but..."

Friendly Service, my room was clean at first instance but the only thing that was disturbing was that on the following morning while I was Shaving a medium sized "Cockroach" came out of the mirror. Yep. Tha was my experience, now if you dont mind roaches popping out while your shaving, then I would say it is decent room for the price

Needs Major Improvements

Dirty and cheaply renovated. The room had bits of paper and small trash on tables and floor. It looked like nothing had ever been wiped down (tables, chairs, phone), much less disinfected. Shower faucet made screeching noise and allowed minimal water through. Free wi-fi internet was painfully slow. Room was expensive because of event in Galveston which we were not going to. Heard what sounded like 2 separate "domestic arguments" outside in parking lot. Was glad to leave.

poor service

I had booked a non smoking room and when I checked in it was a smoking room. When I told the desk clerk about she just shrugged her shoulders and changed the subject.

ok hotel

The hotel was ok but what is bad I booked a non smoking room and got a smoking room. Whe I told the desk clerk she just shrugged her shoulders and told me I was all paid up and didn't owe anymore,

great room for the money

we were very pleased with the room overall, i would stay there again. my husband and I were very pleased with the cleanliness, and even smelled clean.I would raise the star bars on this one.
