Great Value-not a resort but serves the purpose

Great staff, nice and personable. Clean hotel convenient to 264 and surrounding area. We stayed there because we were going to a party and need a place to rest for the night.. Perfect. Don't go expecting the Hilton but definely worth the money, clean, respectable hotel to stay for a night or two. We would stay again! Great Staff. Extremely friendly and Clean.

Ok, with some minor problems. Otherwise great hotel.

The hotel overall was just fine, the only thing that we noticed was that the noise from the parking lot next door at dennys was very load late at night. The bathtub could use a good revamp, otherwise we enjoyed the hotel. Getting into the hotel was a problem because you had to go down the street and make a u-turn on a busy 4 lane street to get into the hotel from the interstate. Otherwise a good hotel for the money.

Great hotel, with only a few problems

My girlfriend and I stayed for five days, bed was great, room was good. T.V. was a bit snowy on some channels but good. Phone would go off at random times for no reason, which sucks at 8am if you are not use to getting up that early, which we weren't. Shower was a problem, my girlfriend who is 5'2" had no problem with it, but me being 5'8" had some big problems. The shower head is place very low and I had to bend over to get my hair wet, and I have a lot of hair had some issues, so if you are over like 5'5" I suggest taking baths, would be easier. There was always plenty of parking but the problem with that was there is only one way in and one way out. and if you don't know where those spots are it is really a pain, but that really isn't the hotel's fault it has more to do with the city and there roadways. Denny's right next was a major plus, and when I say right next door, I mean right next door, exit the main entrance and turn to your right and walk 20 feet to the entrance of denny's. Overall a very good hotel and would stay there again.

Good Hotel

Hotel was close to the airport and was a bonus that it allowed pets since I was traveling from overseas. Nothing special, but decent enough. Would stay again if in the area.

A very nice stay

I stayed there because I was in town for a Rugby game. Needless to say I didn't check in till close to midnight of my check-in day. I was a bit drunk, dirty, and a blood stained head...my buddies were not much better. We were polite and in return the person at the desk treated us as if we walked in with tuxedos. Checked us in quickly and told us we could get food at the attached Denny's. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms clean and no fluctuation on the shower water temperature you get in a lot of hotels. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent. The hotel is in a quiet area of town. Right up to the time we left the staff was very polite to us!!!

So-so stay

The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was comfortable. I was only staying one night, arriving late and leaving early in the morning. All I wanted was a clean comfortable room, a hot shower and a bottle of water... There was no bottled water in ANY of the vending machines and while the shower was hot there was mold on the shower curtain and long strands of hair on the toilet, in the sink, on one of the towels and the toilet did not flush well. However, the room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. Not too bad but little improvements with the bathroom could have made it a great stay.

Clean, good value, not perfect.

This building has been a La Quinta for many years and has always offered a good value. If anything, the facility has improved slightly -- maintainence has been good. The worst feature, for me, probably relates to its age,and perhaps the fact that some of the non-smoking rooms were not always such. When I first came in from outside, the building and my room smelled of smoke covered over with the perfume in deodorizer. Each time in, I quickly adjusted and lost this smell. Others might continue to be bothered -- I don't know. The room lacked darkening drapes -- it had only gauzy curtains. If you need a dark room for a daytime nap, this would be a problem. It wasn't for me, and I had a good stay.
