Needs help

There was absolutely zero hot water Saturday morning when we awoke wanting to take a shower. The hotel's wireless internet service was not working so we couldn't conduct business on the computer in our room. They left us with only ONE washcloth for two people to share! When we called for housekeeping it took two hours to get the one additional washcloth they brought. So, bottom line - avoid this place if at all possible!

Could use improvment

It's hard to belive that a hotel this size can only afford one wash cloth per room! Twice I asked for two additional wash cloths but none could be found.

Clean but bed hard

The room was as expected and as remembered. Clean and reasonable. However the bed was too hard to get a good sleep.

Too many bugs

I wasn't expecting much - there's not too many other options in Tehachapi. We just needed a place to stay overnight. Problem was, I awoke with bug bites all over my legs, and when I went to open the curtains - they were infested with some type of small winged bug. Icky. Otherwise seemed okay. Fridge and micro in the room were convenient. Like I said, not a lot of options in the area, but they need to do something about those insects.

Worst weekend ever

The first room had broken electrical outlets so I couldn't plug in my breathing machine. They weren't attached to the wall and could have been a fire hazard. They upgraded us to a mini suite but at 9 pm we discovered we didn't have any hot water in the shower. They said they were "working on it" so we took ice cold showers hoping it would be fixed by the next night. The next day still no hot water in the morning and by 2 pm we were told it wouldn't be fixed till monday due to the part being unavailable. We were given another room and had difficulty with the shower adjustments. The pull to change from tub water to shower was broken and the knob to adjust the temperature was not working right. We finally got our showers and the final straw was finding cockroaches in the bathroom later that night. We were able to be reimbursed for one night

Friendly and clean

Rooms clean, breakfast ok, wireless not working

Most important things for a hotel stay were good: nice, clean rooms. The place itself is clean (looks like newly remodeled). Free Wireless was not working and the staff was unable to fix it. we stayed there two nights and wireless was only working the first night. Ice machine on our floor was not working. The pool was too cold, the hot tub way too hot. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a overnight stay but for the price I would expect better service.

Great room for the price

This hotel has been totally remodeled since I stayed there four years ago. It was very clean and quiet.

Off the main road...

It was quieter than I expected which was nice since it is right next to the highway. Room very clean and comfy for the most part.

Friendly front desk

Young lady at front desk very helpful. Hotel room not worth what I paid. Should have been at least $45.00 to $50.00. Paid less at state line Nevada, and a nicer room.
