Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 32Met my expectations
I paid the extra $ for the upgraded suite. The room was a little bigger with a recliner, small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The mini kitchen was in the vanity space. Overall the room and facility was very pleasing; upgraded and clean. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Good variety and good coffee. We came from out of town for a concert at the Tacoma Dome. Taxi services were waiting for us as we were going to the event so we took the taxi instead of driving. The round trip only cost half of what we would have paid for parking at the Dome. You have to travel about a mile to get to the Dome and another mile the other direction to get to restaurants. When going to local attractions the front desk printed off driving directions and maps for us. The courtyard and pool area was nice. If I came back to the area I will stay at this hotel. The check in time is not 12:00noon so call to confirm what time you can have access to the room because we had to wait.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 32Terrible place to stay
Upon arrival we were treated very rudely by desk staff. The room was not clean and lacked toilet tissue. A call was placed to the desk for a request for toilet tissue and person answering phone was arguementative. And we were forced to demand toilet tissue.I will never stay or recommend this place again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 32Terrible place to stay
My reservation stated that check in time was 12:00 noon. The desk clerk refused check in till 3:00 PM.When finally checked in room was not clean ie toothpaste smeared allover bathroom door, inadaquate supply of toilet tissue in bathroom.A call was placed to the desk and received rudely. When inquiries about transportation and restuarents in area were made the response was yet again rude.I would never recommend nor would I ever stay in this chain again. It was a terrible experience.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 32Hotel was nice, neighborhood was a little scary!
The room was clean and quiet & the staff was friendly but we should have ordered dinner in instead of going out. We had to drive several blocks to find anyplace to get something to eat and the neighborhood was not good. Even the churches had bars on the doors and windows. It made me nervous about the safety of my car in the hotel parking lot.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 32Perfect for my needs
The hotel was nice. The room was very comfortable. It was near the places I wished to visit. It had limited food places nearby. If you wanted to go out to eat you had the choice of the resturant in the hotel, or driving at least a mile or two to find a resturant.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 32Good room for the price
This is no 5 star hotel, but for the price we paid it was decent. The free continental breakfast is only on weekends and was not that great of a spread. i have had better breakfasts at a Travel Lodge! The room was comfortable, and so was the bed, but don't expect much of a view. If you are looking for luxury, this is the wrong hotel for you, if you are looking for comfort at a good price, then this will suit you fine. oh, and the pool is outdoors, so make sure you take into account that it is closed from oct-march.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 32needs improvement
Misrepresentation- hotel boasts pool, which is seasonal and was closed. No soap of any kind. No glasses, plastic cups in this price range?? Woman, alone with one infant and a 3 year old. Staff watched me try to juggle everything and never offered to assist me with luggage, luggage cart, etc.. to my room.

Clean and comfortable room for a fair price. Buy the breakfast in the restaurant - it was quite good. View options inlcude the freeway and a pipe fabrication shop.
