Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 18Nice hotel for the money
Great area out front facing the ocean with grass as well as the pool. Liked the walk in pool for not only small children, but also for the adults. Very clean spacious rooms.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 18Not cheap enough for what you get
Price I paid is too much a night to have to spend to be surrounded by riff raff (other hotel guests and neighbors). Additionally, while the room was nice enough, I really dislike hotels with window air conditioning units. They are SO loud and in order to keep the room from being very humid, the air has to be kept really cold (and cold is more uncomfortable than humid). Staff nice. Continental breakfast very decent. Parking is not great.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 18great hotel, and location
This has all the comforts or a resort suite, but the price of a hotel room. Service was good, beds were very comfortable, and everything was updated and clean!

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 18Loved Our Stay
We paid the extra money for an Ocean view room and it was well worth it. The room is great with comfortable beds and very clean. The housekeeper stopped by after check-in to make sure everything was OK. We talked to them throughout our stay and they are truly the best...there was a man and woman working together...great team. We loved the pool, grassy area and table area. We had our picnic lunch on the deck. Most hotels do not have "green" grass, but this hotel did. We are already planning our next trip to Daytona & will definitely stay at La Quinta Inn. It is just a short walk to the pier and boardwalk, but yet far enough away that you don't have to put up with all the noise if you don't want to. The Sat night fireworks/band at the pier added an extra special touch to our fabulous week-end.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 18Great hotel
Our hotel stay was very nice, the beds were super comfortable and it is right on the beach. The continental breakfast was more than expected with make your own waffles which were excellent! The rooms were cozy if u get the room with the sitting area. All in all it was great for the money. I would stay here again!

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 18Decent Room for the Money
The location is right on the beach, which is nice. The hotel is definitely older, but the room was good sized and seemed pretty clean. The free breakfast was good with lots of options, but you have to get there early or most everything is gone.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 18Great room and extra clean.
The hotel was very nice and clean. Probably one of the best beds i have slept on in a hotel. The only complaint about the hotel is the parking. I didn't feel like i could leave because i was afraid i wouldn't have a parking place, but other than that hotel was great!!! Breakfast was great to and the staff was very friendly.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 18Great experience
I am always worried about booking a hotel room in Daytona they tend to be outdated and ran down. I searched the web for quite a while and pulled this hotel and looked at pictures and decided to take a chance. I was surprised that the pictures looked just like the room we stayed in which was clean and updated. I did not have a beachfront room but this was groundfloor and I was able to park in front of door. I would stay at this place again and also would recommend.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 18Expectations Met
We stayed here on our way to Georgia from RI for one night. We chose this hotel based on it being pet friendly - we were travelling with 2 parakeets. We arrived after dark, but the hotel was still nicely lit. Check-in staff was very nice, but one must have been training, so it was a bit slow. There was a restaurant next door and a steakhouse up the street that we did not eat at, but heard good things about. The room was nice, nothing spectacular - very typical. Some peeling paint on the ceiling and stains on the floor - nothing to complain about though. There was a pool downstairs, but curiously, it's right next to the lobby and a bunch of big windows. So if you are swimming, you are being watched by everyone in the lobby and dining area. The hotel is pet-friendly, so if you have allergies, this is not the one for you. We saw plenty of cats and dogs around. Also, I know some people complained about train noise. We didn't hear anything - we must have been on the other side of the hotel. There was a free continental breakfast in the morning, which was a nice treat. There was fruit, toast/muffins/bagels, and sausage/biscuit sandwiches that could be microwaved - they were very good. Overall, our expectations were met. I wouldn't stay here for a week, but for a couple nights, it's just fine.
