La Quinta Inn San Jose Airport

One night stand!

Solid hotel for short stays on the cheap. I'd look elsewhere if you were trying to make an impression or needed amenities beyond a bed, toilet, shower, and free wireless. Airport noise was typical for airport hotels. Neighborhood is light-industrial and non-threatening (I'm from Detroit so my opinion may be skewed).

some small gripes

Nice, clean room at a reasonable price. The knob on the A/C unit was broken and turned with no effect on temperature. Only after removing the knob and turning the shaft with my Leatherman pliers was I abel to control the unit. The refrigerator temp control knob was missing and the fridge was unplugged. After plugging it in, there was no way to tell which way to turn the shaft to lower the temp.

Great rate and very good room!

I had read that you could hear the airplanes, but I did not find the airplane noise that loud. I had a very easy check in. The parking lot is very dark. The bed was great and the bathroom towels were decent. Overall, I thought it was a great value!

"Needs Improvement",

no computer terminal, breakfast was only cereal and toast, beds were old and worn.

Wonderful Hotel

I had a hard time finding it at first, going by directions i wrote up from my google, but I called the hotel and the guy was extremely helpful with giving me directions to the spot. Everything bout' the room was comfortable. The only thing wrong was the mini-refrigerator didn't work and there is no microwave. The burger King is real close and the employees that was the that night were cool, they were so nice they offered to help me carry my food to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Close to Great America!!!

BEST HOTEL TO STAY

I STAYED SO MANY HOTELS IN DIFFRENT STATES AND EVEN IN SAN JOSE, BUT FIRST TIME I STAYED IN LA QUINTA AND I FOUND THE SUPERB HOTEL LIKE OUR HOME. IT IS VERY NEAT AND CLEAN, WELL MAINTAINED, AFFORDABLE PRICE AND HAS PEACEFULL ENVIRONMENT. IT IS WORTH WHAT EVER YOU SPENT THE MONEY FOR STAY.

basic, older motel

It's an older hotel. It's clean and has wireless internet, but the rooms are smaller and not as comfortable. It's very close to airport and air plane traffic is noisy.

Great room for the money.

Safe & quiet neighborhood. The employees are nice & friendly.

Good stay

Nice breakfast, Clean & quiet. A bit far away from most attactions.

Same as earlier..

Again we really enjoyed our stay and will use itagain.

Outstanding Hotel

Great hotel for the money you pay. Comfortable rooms that are nicely decorated and location is easy to find. Will definitely use this hotel again if I stay in the area.
