Oh La La LaQuinta

I truily enjoyed my stay. The hotel is clean, fresh, and I had a comfortable night sleep.

The comfort and security of this hotel will always keep my business. I usually stay at La Quinta twice a year and I am always comfortable.

Needs Improvement

Our room smelled as though they had shampooed the carpet with a disinfectant and didn't rinse it off. It was very overwhelming. The Continental Breakfast was very good--lots of choices.

Not Happy

I'm pretty easy going but this hotel stay was rough. At least 2 dogs that rarely stopped barking. When they did stop, their owners would rile them up again and think it was really funny. Also a large lump on the floor that was carpeted over. ??. Went to use the iron and it was broken. I called the front desk and the woman working said she was the only one there so i had to walk down to the desk and pick up a key for a different room on a different floor and use that iron. Not worth the cheap rate.

Walking distance to speedway

Stayed the night of the Coke Zero 400 so the room rate was very high. Being that close to the track was awesome. Added bonus is that the hotel shares a parking lot with a Wing House for post race celebrations. Hotel is showing its age but was passable, especially if you don't plan to do anything but sleep there. The staff was extremely pleasant and tried hard to make sure everyone was happy.

Bring your EarPlugs!

As with most La Quinta's, this hotel had a great bed, was very clean, and equipped with all the necessities. Unfortunately the security doors to enter the hallway, and even the room doors slammed so loudly throughout the night that it was difficult to get any sleep at all! My initial reaction was to get annoyed because I thought people were just being rude, but when I left in the morning I realized there is practically no way to close the doors quietly. So if you choose this hotel... don't forget your ear plugs!

Great room for the money

We had a problem with dead ants on the sheets. We called front desk we we're moved within 5 minutes to a cleanier room.The beds we're very comfortable, staff was nice and free continental breakfast was great. I will be glad to stay there again and recommend it to a friend the prices are great.

A Hold on my Credit Card

I paid for my hotel through hotels.com, yet LaQuinta charged my credit card. The charge is still pending on my card and I am wondering if it will come off or not. It has been several days. They told me it would already be off. They also told me to call my bank and have them call LaQuinta. I don't understand how a business can do that. Can you not hire enough dependable help? I specifically asked when I checked in if my card would have a "hold" placed on it and she said "no". Also, we arrived at around 2:30 and asked for a roll-a-way bed and they said they didn't have one available at that time. Well, they didn't have one available the entire time we were there.
