Great location; outstanding hotel.

The La Quinta Inn and Suites Dallas D/FW Airport North was an unexpected delightful hotel. It's very convenient to DFW, and the accommodations were exceptional for the price. The people were friendly and helpful, and I would highly recommend it, especially if you have a flight to catch the next day. However, I would avoid the Shell Stations for fuel. They are not convenient nor are they very pleasant.

the electricity went out for over 2 hours and they will not credit anything...

Small beds, but great staff.

I called to get the shuttle after arriving. Once we got to the hotel, the room was ready and all the paperwork had been done. The desk clerk gave me my key and it was off to bed in less than a minute! The beds were VERY small. Twins I guess. The shuttle to the airport starts at 8:00am, so if you have an early flight, like we did... get ready to run to your gate!

Great room for the money

Excellent breakfast provided; everyone was really nice. The only thing that wasn't great (but not really that bad, either) was the highway noise. Probably a room on the inside didn't have as much noise.

This hotel exceeded every expectation I had. I could not ask for anything more from the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great - even served earlier than advertised, the room and lobby were clean and in good repair, and travel to and from the location of our dance competition took us less than 2 minutes. Are all La Quinta hotels like this? If so, I'm booked! To the hotel chain: Would you consider providing a small refrigerator in the rooms. For me, that would make the stay perfect.

Outstanding Hotel

I did not realize how close it was to the airport. Very nice rooms and the employees actually call and check on you, after you check in.

Slow shuttle service

I waited nearly an hour to get the ten-minute ride to the hotel for a quick night's stay. The desk told me it would be only 15 or 20 minutes when I called, so I wasn't sure what to do. In the morning, they only had shuttles leaving one per hour, so I had to get up extra early. That was all a lot less convenient than I had hoped. But the hotel is still pretty good value for the price -- clean and comfortable for the few hours I was there.

Great room for the money

Conventiently located close to DFW, the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the amenities were above satisfactory.

Outstanding for the price

Great price, extremely clean, appears new inside. Convenient free shuttle back and forth to DFW Airport with friendly drivers. Front desk helpful, courteous. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a room near the airport.

Cleaned and Maintained Impeccably

We were told the hotel was 10 years old. We thought it was brand new. Everything was perfect!
