La Playa Resort, Daytona Beach

Location. The towering oceanfront La Playa Resort, in the northern area of Daytona Beach, Fla., is within three miles of the Ocean Center Convention Center, Ocean Walk Shoppes and the Daytona Beach Fishing Pier. The resort is less than 15 miles from the Daytona International Speedway.

Features.The nine-story La Playa Resort features an outdoor pool, seasonal poolside tiki bar, indoor pool, children's pool and three spa tubs. Seasonal family recreation opportunities are available, including organized children's activities and a shuffleboard court. The Veranda Restaurant offers a daily breakfast buffet, and the Penthouse Lounge features the Bonkers Comedy Club. Other amenities include fitness equipment, laundry facilities and complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the building. Guests receive complimentary access to a fitness center less than three miles off-site at a partner hotel.
