Description
See more detailsLocation. La Mansion Inn occupies a mountainside location that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Another local destination is the Damas Island Mangroves which are navigated by eco-friendly tour boats. The inn is near Costa Rica's famous National Park and is nestled in one of the last remaining natural zoos of the world.
Hotel Features. Originally built as a private Mediterranean-style residence, La Mansion Inn offers the intimacy of a boutique property. The inn's designers engaged ecologically sound practices, and the property is heated by solar energy. The interior displays numerous original paintings crafted by some of Costa Rica's top artists. The Jacques Cousteau Dining Room, in honor of its namesake, features an expansive aquarium and is decorated in tones of ocean blue. The kitchen specializes in fresh seafood dishes and steaks. Seating is offered indoors or adjacent to the outdoor herb garden. A barbecue grill is located on the patio. Recreational amenities include an outdoor infinity pool and a spa tub. The inn offers concierge assistance, room service, and in-room spa services. Staff can also arrange laundry services upon request. La Mansion's Adventure Club offers a range of sea, mangrove, and jungle tours.
Guestrooms. Air-conditioned guestrooms include televisions, telephones, and wireless Internet access (fees apply). Sliding-glass doors lead to exterior sitting areas with views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding jungle. Accommodations also include minibars and electronic in-room safes.
Expert Tip. The inn's underground Bat Cave Bar was carved from natural rock formations. The splash of an interior waterfall serves as a backdrop to the bar's specialty cocktails.
