Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 75Fabulous in every way!
I loved this hotel. It is in a great location, convenient to everything. Boutique style hotel with many amenities- very cool patio and swimming pool on the rooftop, lovely lounge/library with fireplace also on the fourth floor, adequate, but small, fitness facility The staff was warm and welcoming. Unbelievably comfortable beds and linens, windows blocked all street noise-- it was hard to force myself out of bed in the morning. Could walk to any neighborhood from this neighborhood-- in fact, we found the entire city to be very walkable. Didn't take our car out of the garage once. Highly recommend that you try this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 75Simply Amazing
The hotel is small and relatively hard to find. It's collocated in a condo building right across from the Westin Grand. The rooms are beautifully appointed and quiet, especially the one facing the courtyard. Their library and the hotel terrace on the 5th floor are wonderful. Parking is overpriced, and it's on par with the Westin Grand across the alley. The hotel does not offer a more affordable self-park option, although the parking garage they use for their valet would accommodate this. If you don't want to spend $26 and don't need in and out privileges, simply drive to the back of the building and self park. The staff won't tell you to do this.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 75Very nice and close to stadium
We used this hotel for a concert held in BC Place stadium. The hotel is only a few blocks from the stadium and is a very nice place with very comfortable beds and excellent amenities. The neighborhood is slightly rough around the edges, but that would be expected in downtown Vancouver next to the stadiums, wouldn't it?

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 75Vancouver has redeemed itself
Two summers we stayed in an overrated fleabag, Hotel X, just two blocks away from L'Hermitage, and we paid the same price! After that experience we were ready to forsake Vancouver forever. But we returned this week because we wanted to see a concert. We were astounded by L'Hermitage. The staff was attentive and personable. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Incredilble.

L'Hermitage is a beautiful hotel, perfectly situated in downtown Vancouver. We were dazzled by the service, the decor, the rooftop jacuzzi, and the comfortable beds. We will definitely be back.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 75L'Hermitage's Quality Cannot be Beat for the Price
For the quality of stay there's no price comparison. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable and truly a home away from home for my family. I wouldn't recommend another hotel over L'Hermitage in all of Vancouver.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 75Friendly service, very attractive rooms and lay out
The rooms are hip and comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and spacious and elegantly laid out - the toilet is in its own little closet, nice touch. What makes this hotel for me is the roof top lap pool and jacuzzi, they are very attractively laid out and after a day of shopping on Robson Street, its the perfect place to relax.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 75Enjoyable Stay Pre-Cruise
We arrived at the hotel in late afternoon after a full day of travel. We were informed at check in that the hotel had upgraded our room. It was a lovely large room with a comfy king size bed, fireplace, flat screen TV, The bathroom featured a glass shower, a soaking tub and a separate water closet. Everything was immaculate. The hotel staff greeted us by name each time we exited and entered the hotel. They called ahead for us for last minute dinner reservations and on both occasions we were immediately seated. The only suggestion is the satelite TV was a little tempermental and we had to call the desk to get instructions. They immediately sent a staff member up to instruct us on how to operate it. We made sure to get a business card and have already recommended this hotel to friends. We stayed at this hotel prior to embarking on a cruise and found the location very handy to everything we wished to do.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 75LOVED the Hotel!
It was difficult to leave the hotel and explore the city with a room like that. Loved the outdoor patio, super comfy bed and fireplace. Housekeeping was always late servicing my room. Only had turndown once during my three night stay and one of the lightbulbs at a bedside lamp remained out...even after housekeeping attemped to turn it on at turndown. Other than that, the hotel was amazing. Guest Services went above and beyond to help with directions and restaurant recos. I'd def return!

Hotel, is beautiful and in great shape. Rooms are very clean and nicely done. the only complaint I have when we received they said that the room type that I had reserved was flooded ???? and I have to go to a studio room instead of the one bedroom suite but they took care of parking and breakfast. Staff was very friendly. overall very good experience. I would recommend the hotel

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 75bad service
the front desk staff has attitude, valet takes 35 minutes to bring your car and your room won't be cleaned until at 5pm. i love the location and the kitchens, but was really upset with their service. wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 75What a find
We loved our stay in Vancouver mostly due to the outstanding accomadations and staff at L'Hermitage. The hotel has a great location. Everything was within walking distance and the staff was very good at helping with directions and recommendations of sights worth seeing. I can't say enough about the staff. One staff member even saw us on the street and stopped to make sure we didn't need assistance! I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Beautiful decor, great concierge service. Convenient due to great location to shopping and dining. Grocery store in the same street, steps from hotel. Hotel has a fully equipt kitchen and washer and dryer. We stayed for five days and had a great experience.
