We booked online based on a 3 star rating & attractive photos. When we arrived, the rating clasification was posted as a 2 star. Nonsense! This property is, at best, a zero. The room that was assigned to us had such a strong stench of urine coming from the bathroom that occupying the room would be near impossible. We asked for a new room and were presented with a can of air freshner. After spraying and holding on for 2 more hours, we asked again for a different room. The answer, of course was NO. Their reasoning was that we had already occupied the room and recleaning would be necessary. After about 15 minutes they changed their mind and agreed to give us a different room, provide we fluff up the unused bedding and tidy up the room and bathroom. We did. The second room still had a notice of urine smell, but tolerable. The malfunctioning A/C system sounded like a 100 car freight train laboring up an incline. Although the bedding and linens were quite clean and fresh, the freight train A/C kept us from sleeping comfortably. Vive La France! Oui. Kyriad Hotels...Non! The photos of the grounds were very misleading. Outdoor furniture was coverd with bird dropings and filth. Totally unusable. On a positive note, the parking was secure and free.

This hotel was very disappointing. The price should have told me something whereas the two star rating is I believe very misleading. The online photos lulled me into not trusting my instincts when booking our stay online. The first room was so small that when the Murphy bed was lowered we hardly had room to move between the bed and all four walls. There was absolutely no room for an open suitcase. The bathroom smelled like a public restroom or as my wife put like a bus station. This room was next to a string of conference rooms. I would not be surprised that when not rented it is used as a common restroom and not cleaned properly afterwards. We complained after a very bad first night and was given a larger room with a better smelling bathroom, but still with the same faint order (not cleaned to normal standards is my guess). I can make only two positive remarks about this hotel, they responded without hesitation when we complained about the first room, I had left my cell phone on the bedside table one of the days during our stay and it was still there when we returned late that day.
