Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 72Never Stay Here!
We booked a room here last minute for my daughters cheerleading competition in November, I know it was off season but it was the worst hotel/motel experience I have ever had, the manager was nonchalant about the numerous issues we had from a broken window to noisy "permannent residents" at the motel, aparently during the winter months they open the motel up like a rooming house to pay the bills, these people like to ignore the 10 pm quiet rule till 1:30 in the a.m. and then again from 3:30 till 4:30am needless to say very little sleep, we booked a "deluxe" room and it was small and old and had rusty faucets and did not even come with cups to rinse when you brushed your teeth or shampoo, nothing, just one wrapped bar of soap, unfourtantly since we booked last minute we could not cancel and go somewhere else or we would have.

great location near boardwalk and in the heart of Wildwood. Hotel room was clean but don't expect any degree of luxury. Overall, a place to rest your head at a decent price.

the motel has a wondeful location and was built in the 50's but it has not had a good cleaning in a long time and is in need of paint and some new beds. our room smelled of smoke and the bathroom was dirty, the towels are very small and the pillows are like a rock. Take cleaning supplies and your own linens.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 72needs a good cleaning
The rooms smell of smoke and the bathroom is far from clean. The motel was built in the 50's and could be charming with some paint and elbow grease. Take towels with you as the towels are the size of a large hand towel and thin. The pillows are like a brick and the mattress is thin. One block to the beach and boardwalk. Very close to the rides.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 72Loud and unable to sleep the whole night.
What was nice was the hotel is conveniently located 2 short blocks from the board walk. But the bad far outweighed the good. The street noise was so loud and the people were making so much noise it was impossible to sleep.Never again.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 72Great hotel in good location at reasonable price
Good thing is hotel is very close to beach and nice and clean. There is a Rite-Aid across the street and boadwalk which is just one block away has lots of eateries. I am completely satisfied with my stay. I stayed there during labor day weekend of 2009. It is very compact and just enough parking spaces and very small pool. But for the price it is good place to stay. also surroundng space is safe.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 72Sleep in your car
This hotel looked like it hadn't been remodeled since the eighties. We arrived around 11:30 or so, and we knew that we were early. But, since there was no parking and we didn't want any problems since we didn't have one of those tags for the rear view mirror, we decided to let the front desk know we arrived. The manager was a complete jerk. 'I don't know why people think they can check in whenever they want.". This is what he said to us and then realized he had two rooms ready. He could have said "We may not have anything ready right now, I'll check" or "If you want to head up to the boardwalk and leave a number, I'll give you a call as soon as a room opens up." The rooms were filthy, we slept on top of the covers, in our clothes. THe best thing was the pool and the fact that it's about two small blocks from the boardwalk. But I most definitely wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 72Location, location, location
The Knolls Resort Motel is in a perfect location - within walking distance of nearly everything you could want. Restaurants, bars, comedy club, boardwalk... etc. It's a Wildwood "classic" so there are no frills and no elevator but it was clean and the pool was nice. Railings are original to building so watch your young ones - they can fall through if you aren't careful. Bring your own soap, too - they didn't provide that.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 72Better than expected
The receptionist already called out my last name when I walk thru the door to check in and this was the 1st time I've been here. Check in and out were very simple, quick and easy. The key to our room was quite hard to open but they did tell us to jiggle it a little and a matter to getting used to it. Everything was in working order, especially the window A/C and Frig which are most critical to us. The motel even has a place for you to shower/wash the sand off which I didn't expect it to have. If I had to stay longer, it'd be nice to have a laundry place. There's no phone in the room, but which we don't need and since everybody has cell phone anyway. There're chairs, table with umbrella outside of your room and in the balcony area which is nice to relax and rest. I did not expect much of the motel, but it turned out that the room and service were better than I expect. Oh, forgot to tell you all...there a Rite Aid food convenience store just across the street, just a few steps away, and that's a plus!!
