Tired and Worn

I was very disappointed with the sailboat Obsession. It has not been kept up and was tired and worn. To their credit, the sheets and two towels they provided were clean and in good condition and the air conditioner worked. The 4 hour sail and snorkeling included being towed back to the dock because the engine wouldn't start. If you are true sailors with high standards, this is not the boat for you!

Great Location on the water

You could not ask for a better location in old Key West than this; literally right in the middle of the Historic Seaport. We parked the car and did not move it until the day we left...we were walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Sleeping accomodations were a bit tight for 2 adults in the stern cabin; we had to split up and use the bed in the galley; the bow v-berth was OK for two kids. The owner/employees of the boat were great...its nice to have true locals to give you the lo-down on what's what. They gave us some great tips on where to go/what to do. Our personal 1/2 day snorkel trip with Captain Brad and 1st mate Heather to guide us around in the water was wonderful.

KEY WEST PARADISE LOCAL STYLE!!!

WE SO MUCH ENJOYED THE CONTACT WITH THE CAPTAIN AND CREW. THE ATMOSPHERE AT THE MARINA WAS AN EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER. THE ACCOMMODATIONS WERE BETTER THAN HOPED FOR. FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT, SHOWERS, LAUNDRY FACILITIES, AND SHOPPING CLOSE BY. SNORKELING WAS AMAZING WITH EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED. WE WONDERED WHAT LIFE ON A SAIL BOAT MIGHT BE LIKE AND NOW ARE HOOKED!! THE SAIL BOAT HAD BEAUTIFUL SLEEPING QUARTERS, HEAD AND GALLEY COMPLETE WITH EVERYTHING ONE MIGHT NEED. AT THE END OF A GORGEOUS DAY OF SUN AND SAIL, THE SAIL BOAT ROCKS YOU TO SLEEP. THIS WAS THE DESTINATION AND VACATION OF A LIFETIME.,

Spice up your vacation

Great way to try something new other than the typical hotel stay. You get the entire boat to yourself and there are no walls to share. You wake up and open the doors to the beautiful Key West sun. There is no better place to stay as far as the location is concerned. Next to everything (Turtle Kraals, Duval/Front Street, Western Union ship, sea excursions, Conch Restaurant, bicycle rentals, and Conch Tour Train). We arrived via the Key West Express shuttle boat from Ft. Myers and it was a 2 block walk. Key West Express does roundtrips from/to Ft Myers, Miami, and Marco Island. Definately recommend for couples and small groups...no more than 6. I stayed two nights and received a free beautiful, private sunset sail. I am 6'1" and had prenty of room. Awesome
