    Although the hotel looked a little dated on the whole I would definitely recommend staying at the Key Largo Grande Resort. The room was more than big enough for the two of us, with a very comfy bed, a large sofa and 2 tv's! The beach was lovely with really clear water to swim in and lots of activities available if we'd have mustered up the energy. Another highlight was the hammock beach!

Location.Key Largo Grande Resort & Beach Club, a Hilton Resort in Key Largo, Fla., overlooks a native hardwood forest and beach, 50 feet from the Gulf of Mexico. The Florida Keys Wild Bird Center is two miles from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Guests are treated to Caribbean and Mediterranean blended cuisine at Café Key Largo, and South American appetizers and tropical beverages at Parrots Lounge. Room service is available during limited hours. More than 10,000 square feet of meeting space with Internet access is available. Besides access to one of the area's largest private beaches, the hotel offers a full range of water sports and sport fishing. Two heated outdoor pools, a fitness center, sauna and lighted tennis courts round out the activities offered.

Guestrooms.Tropically-inspired furnishings are offered in each of the 109 guestrooms. In-room safes are available. Amenities include coffeemakers and refrigerators, which are available upon request.

Expert Tip. Dance the night away at Parrots Lounge, where entertainment can be found nightly.
