Pleasantly Surprised

Excellent time share. Common areas are nothing spectacular. However, I could have never left my room, very comfortable. Pool area is nice, subdued. Got a great deal on the room, was well worth the price I paid. Wouldn't pay full price.

Great room for the money

I like the room and the workers was great I one bad thing if you do not make the right amount of money they do not give you the discount that they offer you for any tour you may take other then that nice place

Amazing Hotel, Great Value!

My husband and I just returned from Hawaii. The trip was not planned so we did not have a lot of time to research hotels. We stayed 3 nights at the Kaanapali Beach Club resort and absolutely loved it. The rooms were huge. The resort grounds were very nice and it is right on the beach. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants right across the street so you can walk if you do not have a car. We would definitely return to this hotel any time we are in Maui. The price was unbelievable given the accomodations and location.

Great Vacation.....

Great spacious room for the money. Very big and nice hotel with a great garden and pool area. The only thing we didn`t liked is that you had to pay extra for the parking and the Internet Access.

Better than we thought.

The hotel was much better than we expected. The room was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was useful since there is a grocery store within walking distance. However, the wicker chairs were hard and uncomfortable and the outdoor patio furniture dusty. Oh, and I couldn't understand why the bathroom could be accessed through the closet. It was kind of like a 3rd door to the bathroom. It made the 2 doors irrelevant since the sliding closet doors do not lock.

Very nice hotel

This resort was a very good pick for our first time to Hawaii. We have two kids that loved the pool and building a sand castle on the beach. The hotel staff was freindly and took care of every need. The only drawback is that it is a time share resort. We booked through hotels.com so we didn't have to worry about going to some high pitch meeting. Even so, we did receive a phone call trying to get us to come down for a visit. After telling them we're not interested they didn't bother us again. Eating out in Hawaii is expensive and the hotel was no exception. The hotel food isn't very good unless you are just looking for a quick breakfeast or a hamburger. A 1 minute walk down the boardwalk to the next hotel over and they have a restaurant that was slightly better. At least you can get a steak there. I would stay here if I visit Maui again.

"OK"

Hotel has changed many things since it's takeover to a timeshare. I've stayed there many times during the transition, and they keep adjusting the rules and policies. Somewhat tiring.It's just "OK". Seems someone's always trying to sell you something at every turn. Many "rules" to follow, and the parking fee is more expensive than a 4-5 star resort,ridiculous. Not great, not bad, just "OK".

Great Stay!

This was my first trip to Maui. We were very pleased with our stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious, updated, and very clean! We would definately stay here again!

Good Amenities, Great Location, Good Value

Very nice accommodations. Good size for one bedroom suite. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Decent full-size appliances. Small lanai but only used at sunrise anyways (not an ocean view condo). Good pool – large and well maintained – never felt crowded. Plenty of padded lounge chairs and great beach towels. Ice water provided at pool at all times for guests to keep cool and hydrated. Directly step right out to a phenomenal beach. Easy beach access and showers provided to wash off sand and salt. No better place to watch the nightly sunset. Professional, friendly staff. Very good food and drink based on comments from others. Close to other things (grocery, dive shop for snorkel rental, Lahaina shopping and night life, etc.). Excellent parking and related security. Free wireless in lobby had poor signal – in-room access (extra cost) probably fine but wasn’t in the room enough to warrant paying for it. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay. Did not want to leave – cannot wait to go back!!!

Overall the hotel is a very nice place with very good service. It was annoying because we were not able to get an early check in but it was worth the wait as we were given an upgraded suite. Belldesk was one of the best I have ever dealt with. They included free breakfast which I was not aware of when I booked the room. The location was its only downfall we were a $12 taxi ride from the main drag of Ka'anapli beach (whalers village etc). Overall we would stay there again.
