It Was Sufficient....

This hotel was sufficient, but not great. Very clean, and the staff was VERY friendly, just in my experience in terms and rating, the price was too high for the level of quality.

Good location-close to airport.

Staff allowed us to leave our 2 large bags while we drove around the South Island for 2 weeks. Very accomodating. Shuttle was available to take us to a nearby strip mall. Nice to have the shuttle service to pick us up from the airport, and also to take us there.

Good airport location

Decent value, not that easy to find (we arrived in airport late, so no help finding how to sned for pick-up van). But once we ordered the van, pick-up was fast, hotel wasn't too far, and of course van dropped us off at rental car next day. This was once called "Jet Inn" which may cause confusion. This was just a quick overnighter for us so we didn't use any amenities.

So convenient

We stayed at the Jet Park because of an early flight out. We caught the 4:00 a.m. shuttle to the airport and it was very quick and easy. The dining room serves a delicious dinner too. Something I did not expect. The staff was very professional and helpful.

Not your typical airport hotel

Jet Park has a good restaurant and wine bar, somewhat odd decor (for an airport hotel), and efficient desk service. Had read about others waiting for the airport shuttle, but our bus arrived in good time both coming and going.

Beautiful hotel and resterant close to airport

We loved this hotel. They were doing some renovations, but overall it was beautifully decorated and very clean. If you want something close to the airport, then this is the place for you. The resterant in the hotel was excellent. The food is a little pricy, but worth every penny.

Slow airport pickup, but surprisingly good restaurant

We stayed at the Jet Park Hotel for one night between flights. They provide shuttle service between the hotel and Auckland Airport. In our case, we had to wait 40 minutes for the shuttle pick-up, notwithstanding a 10-15 minute estimate provided when we called. Check-in was slow, as for some reason they had our reservation down twice, and we were required to wait while the front desk sorted things out. The hotel is basic airport economy style, nothing exciting except ... the gourmet restaurant! My wife had an excellent rack of lamb, and I had a more than passable fish and chips. So we arrived thinking we might have to have dinner from the vending machines, and instead found a solid dining experience. On balance, an acceptable choice if one night lodging near the airport is required.
