Great Place

I enjoyed my stay at the Jameson. The members of the staff were courteous, professional and friendly. Upon arrival, I requested a quiet room and the front desk clerk re-arranged for me to a room where I would get solitude and a quiet night's rest. Everyone was very accomodating. The location was just off 95 and convenient to stores, restaurants, etc. While it isn't a five star, all the amenities I needed were readily available. I was looking to stay at a nice place without breaking the piggy bank and the Jameson certainly fit the bill on all levels. As a woman travelling alone, it was important to me to be in a safe environment and they offered just that. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel has slipped

Booked room on-line but had to pay additional upgrade fees for refrigerator and microwave. We've stayed at this hotel many times and the quality of their free breakfast has certainly declined. Its not a bad hotel, but has slipped from its previous level -- no longer outstanding!

Small bathroom

Smaller room than expected. Extremely small bathroom - but clean.

Pool Needs improvement

This hotel was very clean and quiet. My only disappointment was the pool, which was small and did not have adaquate lounge chairs - if you were planning on laying poolside for the day. Also their rate would have been cheaper had I not gone through hotels.com. Otherwise, very recommendable.

Overall a great hotel, great location, room was clean the staff was very pleasant.

Be careful of the room you get

We stayed here for the Daytona 500 race so the room rate was outrageous for the two days we stayed but what can you do. Do not let them put you in Room 202! Our first night they put us in this room and we could hear this intermittant sound like buffalo stampeding across the ceiling all night long. We finally complained and it turns out this room is right next to the boiler room. Gee thanks. They did put us in a different room which was 100% better. We enjoyed our stay the rest of the time. This is a nice hotel but Room 202 is a nightmare.
