Fine, despite UN General Assembly mayhem

Was very happy to find a last-minute reasonably priced room here during the UN General Assembly in September. It was very convenient for that, but also right at the center of the mayhem (security checkpoint with metal detector out front etc.) Rooom was comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

Awesome Hotel and Location

The hotel was very nice with a great lobby atmosphere, but who really stays in their hotel on vacations anyway? The location was FABULOUS!! We could walk anywhere and never even used the Subway.

Potty Parity

It was a great hotel except for the bathroom. You needed to be a contortionist to reach the toilet paper and with the main shelf directly above the toilet, you had to be very careful to put the lid down each time you used the facilities. Also...as someone who is a bit shorter than average, the fixed shower head offered up some amusing anecdotes concerning becoming intimate with the far wall in order to complete the bathing process! But...I would stay there again with no qualms!

Beautiful Hotel and a great location

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night for a weekend in NY. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do (Times Sq, Library, Radio City Music Hall, etc.). The staff was helpful, and the lobby was a great meeting place (large with lots of seperate seating areas).

awesome hotel

great for the money, especially in midtown manhattan. would have expected to pay more for this caliber of hotel - much fancier than i expected! the beds are soooo comfortable, like waking up in a marshmallow :)
