    This is one of the finest hotels in the world. The level of service is very high. The hotel is located on a private beach about 5 miles south of town. The amount of beach front and hotel common area per room is very high. The rooms are nicely appointed. I suggest the ocean view rooms on the second floor (the 5200 series). The restaurants are very good and the Emperor Alfredo restaurant located in the hotel is also very very good - and reasonably priced for such a fine restaurant. Even the ancilary services such as rental cars and tours and scuba charges are in line with those in town.

Location. Commanding presence on a one-half mile strand of private Caribbean beach, the InterContinental President Cozumel Resort and Spa rests less than three kilometers from shopping districts in Cozumel, Mexico. The Cozumel Convention Center is less than five kilometers away.

Hotel Features. Three dining options on the property offer beachfront views. The Caribeño Restaurant & Bar serves international cuisine and buffet-style breakfasts by the seaside. The Caña Brava Bar & Grill features tropical cocktails and light fare on the white sand. Fine dining commences at Alfredo di Roma, offering wine pairings with Italian cuisine from the neighboring wine bar. A business center in the lobby area offers print, photocopy and fax services along with high-speed wired and wireless Internet access. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, putting green and two tennis courts. The Serenity Spa offers Mayan massages and beauty treatments utilizing natural elements of fruits, plants and herbs. The Spa also houses a sauna and spa tub. A supervised kid's club is offered, featuring indoor and outdoor activities for ages 5 through 12.
