Hotel Features. This grand palatial hotel dates from 1867 and features an air-conditioned lobby with high ceilings, balustrades, and chandeliers, and offers canal views from its terrace. There is wireless Internet access (surcharge) throughout the property, and the hotel also has a gift shop, dry cleaning services, and currency exchange. the 24-hour front desk can offer concierge services for help booking tours and tickets.
The hotel's La Rive restaurant serves French- Mediterranean dishes, with specialities such as Turbot and Truffle wrapped in Potato Spaghetti set on braised Swiss Chard and Light Veal Sauce. The Amstel Bar and Brasserie serves light meals and drinks, and boasts river views.
