    The hotel is in the central train station and could not be a better location in Stuttgart. Included in the price were "free" passes for the U bahn. We used them extensively during our stay and it was a cost savings. As for the rooms themselves, they were ok. Typical European 3 star hotel. Nothing great but not horrible either.

    I was pleased to find a hotel located so conveniently-- it is mere steps from the train platforms and was in that respect perfect for my early-morning departure for Frankfurt's airport. My disappointment was all the more severe, then, at finding such a run-down, filthy hotel. The halls were dirty, the room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. Bathroom fittings were of prison quality. The walls were mottled with years of stains and patches, and were so thin I could hear every word of my neighbor's phone conversations. I did not even stay the night; it was simply too disgusting. There are other, much better hotel options for similar cost in Stuttgart-- don't waste your money at the InterCity!

The InterCityHotel Stuttgart is a modern property in the centre of Stuttgart set in the imposing main station building, 600 metres from the Castle Gardens. The 105 guestrooms, over three floors, have light decor and functional furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television and pay movies, wireless Internet access, direct-dial phones, desks and minibars. Bathrooms have hair dryers. Irons and ironing boards are available on request, as are wake-up calls.

The InterCityHotel Stuttgart Bar serves regional wines and beers and other national and international beverages, and guests can start the day with the hotel's breakfast services and browse the complimentary newspapers on offer in the lobby. The hotel offers complimentary use of public transport. Stuttgart Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.
