Hotel was very economical, so you can only expect so much. The room reeked of urine, but they were more than happy to move us to a different room (& free upgrade). The ocean view was exactly what I wanted. They had a free breakfast that was better than most that I've seen. Also had free WiiFii. The hotel was undergoing some remodeling, so it may be better when completed. For the price, it is worth the stay.

Great Room for the Money

I have always loved this Hotel from the 1st time we stayed here beginning in 1986. Altho I have stayed at other motels, I always come back to this motel

Better than I was expecting for the money and for the star rating. Location was fine, rooms clean, service was nice. Breakfast was good.

Needs some minor improvement

The hotel had a good view of the beach. The hotel was older and could use a little maintenance. The bathroom had a bad smell. Other than that I was satisfied for the price I paid.

Needs Improvement

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to our vacation destination. It was in very evident need of renovation. The floor was damp,the room smelled musty, and the bathroom was tiny. The hotel staff was rude. I don't think they even know what "customer service" means. The beds, however; were very comfortable and looked brand new. We slept well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who isn't "just passing through." Do not look at the pictures on the internet. They did not reflect what our room was like in the very least.

Great room for the money

We enjoyed our 4 days 3 nights. It was busy which held up the elevators (to be expected). Great complimentary breakfast every morning my kids loved making their own waffles. We called for towels and they were at our door w/in 5 minutes. Great customer service from the time we arrived to departing. Thanks

Need Improvement

Nice but needs improvement

Great price, Great View, Yuck Fleas and vomit! Needs work!!!

The room was okay for a place to crash for the night. View of ocean was great, but the curtain wouldn't open and close without my husband getting on chair to make it happen. Kitchen was nice, but we had to buy a skillet. Room had fleas, owner had just took over and was "fixing it up". They immediately sprayed for fleas, then put on new bedspreads. Noticed that nite the bedspread had dried vomit on the backside of it. Huge amount with rice in it!! GROSS!! We wanted to stay one more night (just because of the ocean) and the room was going up $20.00 just because it was saturday. The room was the same same cruddy place we had been for 5 days why did it rate $20.00 more all of a sudden? The bathroom was so small a tall person couldn't shut the door to use it. The door actually smacked into the tub. Plus it leaked constantly. Pay more and go elsewhere. Or if needing a bargain, Beware don't expect much. Okay for 1-3 days, 5 or more and your over it!

Good for the price

The hotel is an inexpensive place to stay and still get to be beach front. Decent quality for the price you pay.
