Inn at the Market

Good Hotel, great location

Comfortable hotel, great location in the middle of Pike's market, knowledgeable and helpful front desk staff that doubled as concierge. Free wifi but signal wasn't consistently strong in the room. My only complaint is that they have a deal with the Seattle Athletic Club as a place to exercise and that is more than a block walk outside I didn't have extra time for getting prepared for the walk back and forth, an inconvenience even though the facility was good.

The Inn holds up as a wonderful place to stay in Seattle with a dream location and comfortable rooms. The view from their outdoor deck is unbelievable and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or at anytime for that matter. Very friendly staff too.

We loved our one night stay at The Inn at the Market. I especially appreciated the location and convenience for night life food and shopping.

The Deck

My wife and I really enjoyed watching the sunsets in the evening on the deck. It is a nice bonus to the hotel.

Great Views

Overlooks the Pike Place Market and has fantastic views of the Puget Sound. Great bakeries and restaurants surround the Inn at The Market that you can either stay in and enjoy room service or head on out for fresh French pastries or Russian sandwiches.

Outstanding Hotel

My husband and I stayed at The Inn for one night prior to going on an Alaska cruise. The location was great - it was 1/2 block from the famous Pike Market with great shopping nearby. I bought a formal dress for the cruise at Nordstrom Rack which was a block away, and they altered it for me in one hour. Also got a pedicure for the cruise at a fabulous nail place. The hotel is spotless, great eating places very close and within a short walking distance, and the front desk is very helpful.

Price worth location, but not hotel

The hotel staff were not very helpful. I asked for one thing (extra creamer for coffee in room) and it never showed up. Also, you don't get breakfast...not even a piece of fruit. The air conditioner in our room (420) was ridiculously loud, even our earplugs couldn't drown it out. We ended up turning it off, opening the window, and putting up with the city noise. The hotel is charming, the rooftop terrace lovely, and the location great. Was it worth the money? I don't think so. Save some bucks and stay a few blocks back from the market and you'll be just as happy.

Cozy and close to Pike's Place Market and Puget Sound

The service was great. Very elegant and cozy hotel with a terrific location. The lobby is warm and inviting and there are nice shops right off the courtyard entry. My only complaint was during check in when other guests had the front desk (2 positions) totally tied up with map and tourist questions. I waited for several minutes and finally left my bags with the bellman for a later registration. I had an appointment and did not have time to wait. Suggestion: The hotel either needs a concierge since it is in a high traffic / tourist popular area...or... they should put up signage limiting questions to only one check in station so that guest can continue to register without delays.

Great Hotel

The Inn at the Market is a beautiful hotel. The rooftop area had spectacular views. The bed was very comfortable, and I would consider purchasing a Tempurpedic mattress after sleeping on it. We only spent one night, as we were leaving for an Alaskan cruise the next day. Everything was well maintained and clean.The location can't be beat, as it was just a few steps to Pike Place market, and about a mile from the Space needle. Pioneer Square was a short distance away, everything was very convenient. The only down side was, our room faced the street and at about 12 midnight I was awakened by yelling and laughing,and I noticed a crowd of people in the street. I wouldn't have thought we would have heard them, as we were on the sixth floor. They soon left, and I was able to get back to sleep. There was no problem checking out, and they called a taxi for us. If ever I'm in Seattle again, I would definitely stay at the Inn at the Market!

European Experience...Seattle style

Ideal location, clean, quaint, wonderful staff & ammenities. A bit pricey...but worth the view of the Sound and within walking distance to Pike's Market, restaurants and city sites. Good place to unwind.
