Dirty Tiny Room

This was listed and booked for a King Size Bed with a fireplace. The room did not have a fireplace, and the Hotel would not upgrade us to one. We were billed by Hotels.com for a quality of room that the Hotel would not supply. It was small, dirty and unkept. We had to clean Cheetos of the bed left by a previous guest ourselves because they would not send housekeeping. The bed was so uncomfortable that we considered driving the 2 hours back home just to get some sleep. The hotel was very noisy and the front desk was of no help to resolve that. Just another low quality Colorado Hotel. I would like a refund for this one!

Outstanding Hotel

Everything about the hotel was great - the only "wish" I had was that the restaurant was open for breakfast.

needs better customer service

We returned to our room at 8pm to find the room hadn't been made up by housekeeping. I called and they said no housekeepers were on duty and that we had our do not disturb sign out so no housekeeping. I opened the room door (I called the front desk from our room) and the maid sign was hanging as I had left it at 9am in the morning. I was told that this was not the case that a do not disturb was there. At check out this same story was rehashed and I suggested that instead of having both do not disturb and maid needed sign both blue in color they might want the do not disturb to be red and maid needed blue or whatever color. We have stayed at this hotel twice in the past two years and have been skipped by housekeeping both trips for one night each trip. See a pattern developing???

Very Disappointed

Arrived late so didn't check in until 9:30. The restaurant, pool, hot tub, everything was closed - no other places close by to go eat as it wasn't in the town so we decided to just go to our room, not think about being hungry and relax watching tv and sitting in front of the fireplace - as the description of said it had a fireplace and the reason why I chose this hotel over a couple others. We walked into our room and could not believe it. It was so small I had to shimmy sideways to get to the far side of the bed, it was absolutely freezing, dark, dingy, no fireplace - the only thing that was smoking was who knows how many people before us in our "non smoking" room that smelled. The water was cold and the remote for the TV didn't work, so needless to say instead of spending a nice romantic evening together we went to bed fully clothed and left first thing in the morning to a lobby full of people complaining.. absolutely the worst place I have ever been and I have been practically around the world. Very disappointed.

Great Hotel for the Money

A nice overall hotel with great amenities for a reasonable price.

Great location, Poor Sound-proofing

Our room was on the inside end of the floor and was adjacent to another suite. We could hear every word and movement of the older couple staying next door with the kids and grandkids. Not especially pleasant when trying to sleep in!! Also the heat took a very long time to warm the room then would not stop clicking all night. The bed was comfortable and there was a grocery store with a starbucks right across the street, but I probably would not stay here again without a much better rate.
