Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 95wonderful hotel
We spent 2 peaceful nights at the Loretto Inn. We had a king sized bed and our room had a balcony. Everything was top notch from the linens and towels to the tea light candles available for lighting in our little fireplace. The restaurant downstairs was great also, the manager came by our table everyday during breakfast to see if we needed any thing from the kitchen or to offer tips about touring the area. This is a refined, quietly understated gem in Santa Fe. Of the 3 hotels we have stayed in when visiting this city, this is the one we will go back too.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 95Great location and very good comfort
Very good overall, my family loved, and the location is really good. The only issue is that I had to pay $20 additional per day for parking, not included in the hotels.com comparison.

We usually travel "on the cheap" but this is a great place to indulge yourself.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 95Worth the money
The hotel was a nice experience from start to finish. It looks great from the outside which is only exceeded by the beauty of the inside. Friendly, helpful and prompt service seemed to be everywhere as well. The room was clean, impressively decorated, and had a comfortable feeling. We didn't discover the great restaurant until the last day we were there. What a pleasant surprise that was. The Inn & Spa at Loretto certainly contributed greatly to the overall enjoyable experience we had visiting Santa Fe. We would go back there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 95Just Alright
The hotel is conveniently located, close (walking distance) to restaurants and galleries. Once there, we never needed to take our car out of the lot to drive anywhere. The amenities were first class and receiving the New York Times every morning was special. The mattress was very comfortable along with the pillows. The room itself is awkwardly configured. Very small with the clothes closet in the bath room, behind the access door. Lighting throughout the room is poor. Using energy efficient lights is a good thing.....this was down right dark. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. Sleeping was difficult due to the loud unit cycling off and on.

Wonderful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, and so close to the Plaza. You can walk anywhere easily!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 95Good location
Even though area parking is at a premium in old Santa Fe, it was a bit annoying that they charged an extra daily fee for parking, given the room rate.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 95Wonderful Location
My husband and I stayed at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in July 2009 and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a balcony room with a kiva and a view of the mountains. The location was a short walk to the Plaza and convenient to Canyon Road.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 95Great Location - amenities could be better
This is a great central location to walk to the plaza and top restaurants. Housekeeping could have been better - we were there 5 days and they didn't replace any toiletries and it was an ordeal (i.e. taking 3 separate requests) to finally get some shampoo on day 4 when we ran out! For the price we paid - that was a disappointment. The spa is convenient - I recommend the facial services!
