    Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and we were pleased that our rooms were ready prior to the 4:00 checkin. However there were 4 couples and only 3 of the 4 rooms were ready. The 4th couple's room wasn't ready until after 6:00 that night. The King Superior Intercoastal room had a great view of the intercoastal and was very clean. Plently of space and the fridge, coffee maker, and toaster were nice things to have in the room. The conntinetal breakfast was great. Seriously, eggs, bacon and sausage are not typical items on a conntinental breakfast so this was a nice extra. There was plenty of food each morning and the hotel was at capacity. The pool is dissappointing as it get little to no sun. Overall, great stay and I would stay there again.

Location. Looming two blocks from public beaches, Il Lugano Hotel is located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Everglades Island Airboat Tours are two miles from the hotel, and deep sea fishing charters are within four miles.

Hotel Features. Il Lugano Hotel features a tropical outdoor pool with sundeck and chaise lounge chairs. The waterfront restaurant offers Italian cuisine blended with South Florida flavors. Guests receive complimentary beach-buggy transportation to the beaches. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the property.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms offer kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and cookware. Washers and dryers are included in all rooms. Sound systems with iPod docks and high-speed Internet access are featured. Stocked minibars are available. Bathrooms include complimentary toiletries and lighted magnifying mirrors. All rooms are non-smoking.
