Loved it

This is an amazing destination hotel. The room was small, as it was a former monk's cell, but was very nice and overlooked the orchard. We spent several hours the next day exploring the 12th century abbey. Dinner was excellent.

Lovely Retreat

Fontevraud is a very special place full of charm, history, beauty, and tranquility. It is a great place from which to explore the western regions of the Loire Valley. I will stay there again and happily recommend it to all!

Charming, Relaxing Hotel

We wish we could have stayed longer! After the hustle, bustle of Paris, we felt like we had arrived in heaven when we came to Fontevraud. The room we had was a little small, but the ambience of being on the Abbey grounds made up for this. Dinner was one of the best we had during our stay in France.
